Trade a 3rd for this guy? Darren Lee

Little rich for him IMO not a third..... Had that late suspension. And it said some other infractions? What were they? I think they want White and that may be their pick. Maybe a 5th? But with Barron in the mix perhaps they won't be interested...

I'd have no problem trading a 6th or 7th.

True that is right because this years 5th is like a late 4th.

I will change to a 6th too.......................

How would the Steelers be able to move up for Whote? He’s gonna be gone too 12 isn’t he?

Yes he will be long gone.

Unfortunately, Bush will be gone before we draft. I just don't see him being there. his stock is really rising as this keeps going.

It is starting to look that way. 3 mocks on NFL. com have Bush going to the Bengals at 11 with White going in the top 10.

The Steelers have to move up and get White or Bush. They simply have to. The moment Shazier went down the Steelers defense turned to ****.

They won't mortgage the whole draft for one player, nor should they. They went out and added Barron not to have to be forced to do just that.

Steelers moved up 11 spots to get Troy P. back in 03. they gave up there 27 pick and 3,6 pick. they definitely have the picks to move up to pick 10 if the want to and the other team is willing. https://www.behindthesteelcurtain.com/steelers-trades-players-acquired-for-draft-picks-over-the-years/2014/2/22/5436072/steelers-trades-2003-nfl-draft-troy-polamalu-for-larry-johnson-kansas-city-chiefs

Go look at the value chart what it would cost to move from 20 to 10, you might want to strap yourself in first.

No thank you

Lee was suspended for the final four games of the 2018 season due to violating the league’s substance abuse policy. He has other bouts of immaturity during his time in New York, as chronicled

I'm plum out of patience for more "bouts of immaturity " types.

It's really that much

You are probably giving up a 2nd or two 3rds, as it goes down the number of picks goes up. Too rich with a team that isn't one player away. They need a ILBer, a CB, a WR. And a TE to replace Jesse. A RB in case our Conner gets hurt yet gain, I don't want to see Ridley ever again. And by the looks of it the Steelers are interested in pass rushers and S's too..

I rather hold onto the picks and BPA as much as possible.

I want fant as well but moving up 5-8 spots for bush or white would immediately and for a decade fill the hole Shazier injury left us if it will cost us pick 20, rnd 3 4 5 we still have 6 picks move up ahead of the Titans and above cincy as these 2 teams need a coverage and 3 down LB.
so we move up to 11 ILB bush/white rnd 2 CB Baker and 3 WR Butler rnd 5 DT Huggins rnd 6 De/OLB Granderson rnd RB 6 Higdon 7 P Bailey udfta TE gentry
watched a lot of gentry not very fast decent college blocker could be a red zone mismatch nightmare at nearly 6"8, from pro day and 40 times i think he will be a similar te to Spaeth large but not great separation, decent enough potential to be a #2 te in both run support and recieving. ran a 4.91 and at 265 heard after the combine some teams may consider him still a day 3 pick and project him OT but if he goes as udfa i scoop and and put him in our 3 te set and then ben can see in camp between him and grimble and any later brought te if he is better on those PA roll outs crosses.
The only thinh I don't like is by trading 3 other picks 3,4,5 it costs a chance at a better CB/ a S to replace davis a coverage S and a te with higher ceiling.

Us moving up to 11 is about as possible as Coach stating a coherent thought. Cincinnati has the 11th pick, Mike Brown won’t trade in division. More likely with Buffalo or Denver, if they settle for a high 3rd and 5th....and maybe a 6th.

Traded a 3rd and 5th for AB. This guy would need to come at a lower cost

if you cannot get a starting caliber ILB in the 1st or 2nd, are you gonna find one in the 3rd that is better than this guy? OTOH, if he is good enough to be starting, you are not gonna get to keep him at a low salary past this year.

I only saw the article and checked out his stats, so just posed the question. If he does have maturity issues, IMO that is a hard pass.

I'd rather use that 3rd to trade up to get an ILB, but I'm not sure that will get us either target. Watt dropped to us at lower than 20, so we may get lucky. If we don't get one in the 1st, the 2nd group of ILB are gonna be gone by our 2nd pick.

Drafting fant would kill two stones with one bird .. te and receiver wouldnt be against that at all
