Troys Rant?

how many tackles did your son miss? did him missing one end up with the football in the end zone with 6 for the other team??

Still doesnt diminish my point. But be butthurt about Troy if you wish, its certainly your prerogative.

Once you've done what Troy has done in this league, and with the amount of effort he puts in, **** yes, he can ******* say whatever the **** he wants. Show me another guy, ANY ******* other guy, that can do this.

so...nevermind how many times he flails out of control throwing his 200lbs at someone as they waltz into the end zone?
fair enough.
and to think...other teams fan's claim we live in the past!

Football's a team game. It takes at least 8 guys out of 11 doing their job. 3 can screw up and you might still get a decent turnout. More than that and it's probably not going to turn out well at all.

Yes. Because if he plays ****** enough, the coaches have the responsibility to get him out of the game; obviously, his play hasn't slipped SO much that he's an abomination on the field, putting the D in compromising spots on literally every down, and he's done enough in his career that if he sees a need for corrective action with a younger player or younger players, Troy the leader, will do what he has to do. You come off with this attitude like Troy is the absolute worst player on the field when he's out there, as if he's some old man scrub who should've retired a half-decade ago. Troy plays with a lot of risk, sometimes it bites him in the ***, it's the reason he's made so many incredible plays over the course of his career. Clearly, he's past his prime and only has a short amt of time left in this league, but he's one of our elder statesmen, and I absolutely trust his judgment in such situations.

Do you advocate that if a future HOF'er misses on a play here or there, he should be prohibited from getting in some young buck's *** when he plays without effort/focus? Because to me, that sounds like a vacuum of on-field leadership, and I definitely don't want that.

I really don't want to know why you guys are always talking about being butt hurt, however it does sound ominous for the individual posting the phrase.

Telling the young guys how it should be done, when you've been doing it for the number of years Troy has, is leadership. Whining that a leader on the team, who has gotten slower with age, is telling the young guys how it should be done, is a bush league whiney **** move.

I'd say Troy might be the best Safety to ever play this game, I'm sorry if you'd rather he be getting pointers from someone who has never missed a tackle in the NFL. When you find that guy, let me know.

Joe

i'm guessing he wasn't yelling at anyone else for his pitiful missed tackles.
that is some serious "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" type **** right there. be mad. but don't think that you didn't **** up plenty yourself thursday

Troy has always been the whiif meister in his attempts to always make the highlight reel but, his tackling has gone from bad to terrible since that play a few years ago where a Bengal RB knocked the snot out of him. He ended up with his helmet pushed up and was staggering around in a daze while his TM's helped him off the field. i'm sure someone here remembers that game/play.
