The guy in Florida makes a lot of sense.
Based on the primaries and poll numbers, I think Trump has Ohio locked up. I really do. And PA, NY and NJ will be closer than people think (although I'm still giving them to the Democrats in this analysis). Trump is killing it in the northeast (so give him NH). I also think Trump has Nevada locked up too.
That leaves the following 5 states (http://www.270towin.com/maps/avLZ0)
Colorado, Virginia, Iowa, Wisconsin and Florida.
Trump is not doing that well in the upper central states. He lost Minnesota. He lost Iowa. Illinois and Michigan are already Democrat. I think head-to-head vs. Clinton Iowa and Wisconsin will be tough.
That leaves his path to getting to 270 needing Florida PLUS EITHER Virginia or Colorado.
I think that's where the fight's going to come down to. Trump might concede Wisconsin and Iowa and make it a three-state race which Clinton will react head on, especially in Florida.
I think that's why Rick Scott's decision could be huge.
