"Tremendous progress" has been made in talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Donald Trump said on the summit's second and final day.

"I think truly progress has been made," the US president said, declaring the relationship as "outstanding".

The two men and their staff sat face to face for talks at Mr Trump's Mar-a-Lago retreat in Florida.

Trump, Xi showdown fails to materialize at Mar-a-Lago

President Donald Trump had predicted a "very difficult" meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. After their first face-to-face at the Mar-a-Lago resort, he trumpeted they had developed an "outstanding" relationship.

U.S. officials said the two sides agreed to increase cooperation on trying to get North Korea's to abandon its nuclear weapons program, and China acknowledged the need for more balanced trade with the U.S.

The most powerful message for the Chinese leader may have been Trump's decision to launch U.S. missile strikes at Syria.

Those strikes added weight to Trump's threat last week to act unilaterally against North Korea's weapons program

Trump, Xi agree to 100-day plan to discuss trade issues

U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping have agreed to a new 100-day plan for trade talks that will boost U.S. exports and reduce the United States' trade deficit with China, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said on Friday.

Obama would have bowed, bent over, offered them billions then agreed to outsource more U.S. companies and move them to China

President Trump's options include placing nukes in South Korea

THE National Security Council has told President Donald Trump his options for dealing with North Korea’s nuclear threats include assassinating its dictator, Kim Jong-un, and placing US nukes in South Korea, according to a new report.

NBC, citing high ranking US military and intelligence officials, said the two scenarios were developed before Mr Trump’s meetings this week with Chinese President Xi Jinping, reports the New York Post

Tillerson: China agrees on 'action' on North Korea as navy strike group sails

Secretary of state: ‘President Xi understands the situation has intensified’ Syria missile strike described by North as ‘intolerable act of aggression’

As the US navy deployed a strike group towards the western Pacific Ocean, to provide a presence near the Korean peninsula, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said China agrees with the Trump administration that “action has to be taken” regarding North Korea.

Tillerson told CBS’s Face the Nation, in an interview broadcast on Sunday, that when Donald Trump and Chinese president Xi Jinping met at Mar-a-Lago this week, they “had extensive discussions around the dangerous situation in North Korea”.

“President Xi clearly understands, and I think agrees, that the situation has intensified and has reached a certain level of threat that action has to be taken,” Tillerson said.

Tillerson described a “shared view and no disagreement as to how dangerous the situation has become”.

I hope our guys get to shoot at NK instead of sitting around doing nothing like they did under Bammy. I do think the little shitwad who runs NK isn't smart enough to know he shouldn't poke the bear.

We'll see if China got the message

Donald Trump puts Australia on North Korean rocket alert

AUSTRALIA and its allies have been put on standby for the possibility of the United States shooting down test rockets launched by North Korea.

Intelligence sources told The Daily Telegraph that North Korea may launch ballistic missile test flights around the birthday of Kim II-sung, the founder of the rogue nation, on April 15 or even sooner.

The United States, which has a fleet headed to the Korean Peninsula, is understood to have notified Australia that it is fully prepared to shoot down these rockets. The Australian-United States joint facility at Pine Gap monitors North Korean missile launches, and is on standby.

Putting nukes in South Korea is not an option. North Korea would go to war and others wouldn't want them there like Japan, China, Australia, etc...

Not likely, but another Bomb could have Dear Leader's name on it. Using nucs could do harm to South Korea and China.

I don't know why Japan would care. Seems like they would be in favor as any attacks by NK are likely to go to SK and Japan, first. Any deterrent would favor Japan.

Nothing says anti-war better than fists flying! Protester in Jacksonville assault cops

Nothing better represents a committed anti-war stance than a spirited fistfight with police.

Violence broke out on Friday in Jacksonville, Florida, as anti-war protesters gathered to denounce President Donald Trump’s airstrikes in Syria.

Six people were arrested, including the primary organizer, David Schneider, who was charged with inciting or encouraging a riot, according to Action News Jax.

The melee broke out when another man involved in the protest, Connell Crooms, became violent with a man holding a Donald Trump flag. When police tried to arrest him, Crooms turned his aggression on law enforcement,”kicking and elbowing” one officer

People would just think the NK's own third-world duct-tape-and-bailing-wire nukes blew up.

Japan already knows that Godzilla and Mothra and all that **** comes out of the ocean when you set off nukes.
