Yep, I knew this phony figure was coming.

You know how Bammy made it look like he was Captain Deportation? He fudged the numbers, i.e., lied - as usual.

But the portrait of a steadily increasing number of deportations rests on statistics that conceal almost as much as they disclose. A closer examination shows that immigrants living illegally in most of the continental U.S. are less likely to be deported today than before Obama came to office, according to immigration data.

Expulsions of people who are settled and working in the United States have fallen steadily since his first year in office, and are down more than 40% since 2009.

On the other side of the ledger, the number of people deported at or near the border has gone up — primarily as a result of changing who gets counted in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency's deportation statistics.

So Bammy claimed those caught at the border and returned were "deported," whereas his predecessors did not. The data show that in fact the numbers deported declined 40 ******* percent under his watch - according to that right-wing rag, the LA Times.

Just in time for Christmas, the Obama administration is dumping thousands of criminal illegal aliens from detention centers on the streets of America, including those who were facing deportation—and giving them work permits so they can compete with American citizens and legal immigrants for jobs.

According to tweets posted Tuesday night by Jessica Vaughan, Director of Policy Studies for the Center for Immigration Studies, the flood gates were opened today on orders from the Obama administration:

“ICE personnel rec’d orders by phone today to start releasing all illegal aliens in custody who arrived before 1/1/14 – with a work permit.”
