If this is true, why would this be something illegal or shady on Trump's part? All he would have done is be a go between deal maker between Kraft and the NFL. League rules were broken, not actual laws. I don;t even think this would reflect poorly on the Pats. I mean if the NFL was willing to make a deal then that's on them.

Yeah the NFL loved Trump and would do anything for him. 
That's the problem with low information readers, they just take this and other "news" as "truth" and run. They don't take a minute to ask, does 1 and 1 add up to 2 here? They take everything at face value. Oh it's on the internet it must be true. So many have been taught to believe that up is down, right is wrong, etc and don't have the life experience to understand they've been played.
Much of the lies and fake news is, as we all know, simply perpetuated by those who have an agenda of their own so they keep spreading lies and propaganda. Unfortunately it is the worst type of agenda and that's a Communist or what it's referred to now as Democratic Socialist agenda. We see that all the time here. Usually daily. The prop plane should be flying in anytime now.
Some are just ignorant like my father in law who is simply an agitator. They know the **** is false but spread it anyways. They're also the first to complain when the ideals they've been pushing don't fly and then adversely affect them through higher taxes, lower quality of service, no service, etc... Broadband for all will be next up.
Whatever category they fall under most will not wake up until there's a different flag flying at the Post Office and other Federal buildings. They likely won't wake up then either. I'm positive it will be someone else's fault. Like the little kid with a pocket full of rocks getting caught smashing out windows, it was his buddy's fault who told him not to do it.

To be honest, if I racked up 100K in student loans, I'd be saying go Joe! Unfortunately that's short sighted because of the referenced other peoples money, but he knows the attention span of the electorate.
