Trump can win with 1,100 delegates

Republican National Committee member Randy Evans said Wednesday that Donald Trump would likely be able to secure the Republican nomination if he captures anything more than 1,100 delegates, short of the 1,237 delegates needed for a simple majority.

"If Donald Trump exceeds 1,100 votes, he will become the nominee even though he may not have 1,237," Evans said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

Possible good news, but Evans is just member. Let's hear the top man in the committee say that. Trump did hire a good man to run his campaign

Several unbound delagate groups have more or less committed to trump but dont show up in the tallies.. Such as the northeastern pa block... Also many of the delegates bound to drop outs may vote their own way and its unlikely they go 100% cruz... So yes id assume around 1100 dedicated votes would ne enough to eek out a convention first ballot win...

I believe the talking heads believe that if they something enough it will come true. They are just trying to slow Trump down. It is nothing more than more free publicity for Trump.

I bet a buddy today that if Trump actually goes head to head with Hillary, he will make her cry....maybe in Sept but definitely by October.
