Tua or Mayfield: Which would you want (if either):

oh but that would definitely require a high first and then some more valuable assets, probably two firsts and change
Yeah, would be the best option but I wouldn’t hurt to kick the tires and go to the dealership desk and check out the numbers. He would be the best option (in my opinion) out of all of them. However, I think reality says it’s going to be Rudolph

No question - I'm picking Tua but...

If Jalen Hurts is on the market - he's the future, IF I were a decision-maker...

RTR

Hurts' last two games have been U-G-L-Y. He puts the Eagles in a huge hole and then pumps his stats in the late 3rd and 4th quarters when facing defenses letting him complete 8-yard passes and run for 7 yards.

When the games have been in doubt, he forces the ball into coverage, does a one-read-then-run, and cannot put the ball into the endzone.

Depends. If you want to tank then Tua by a long way. If you want to win but not too much then Mayfield.

Haven't seen much of Tua and he's been injured constantly since entering the league. I watched Mayfield a lot in college and now that he is with the Clowns. I would have no problem with him as our QB. I wouldn't pay him like Mahomes, Allen or what Lamar is going to get. He is a tier down from them. He is a very good leader. He has a good arm and accuracy. He is much better than what we have. He is well above average. Is he a "franchise QB"? Maybe, maybe not. He can win games. He can manage games. He is mobile enough. For the right price, I'd have no problem taking him. He is probably better than any QB we had in the 2 decades between Bradshaw and Ben. And, we could easily win a SB with him back there with the right pieces around him and a good D.
Baker isn’t on Mahomes or Allen level.
I’d put him into the Garapollo, Stafford type of category in that he can be a fixture for a team under center will do enough to be competitive but may lack that extra oomph to win a championship. He wins, but how much sustained winning can he bring forth?

Tua, I don’t think he’s cut out for the nfl. He had injuries while in college. His small frame is already feeling the effects being hit at the nfl level.

He’a athletic, does have an arm. He just seems to struggle making reads

Baker has underwhelmed a little bit in Cleveland, but he was also a part of that team coming out of the cellar. It would depend on how much he would cost on the free agent market. There are worse options out there.

It's hard to put a true evaluation on Tua yet because he hasn't played over a sustained period of time. I'd have to see how he plays the rest of the season and his trade cost would factor in. Contract wise, Tua's rookie deal is more appealing.

rather install a new rpo system and draft Willis or Caroll

the OL and running game brought them out of the cellar

What little I've seen seems to concur. I'm no expert but think I'd pass as in not par-take.

Did you just put Stafford in the same category as Garapollo and Baker? Stafford is way better than most people give him credit for, and he's never had a complete team around him like he has now in LA. And from the looks of things in KC, can you even put Mahomes in the top tier category?? He hasn't looked so hot this year.

Jalen Hurts is absolute garbage. Berm, do you ever watch games sober? You cant be serious with "he's the future"

What the f-??!?

I get it, its fun to pile on Mahomes as he goes through a tough stretch right now, but yes, abso-*************-lutely you can and should put Mahomes in the top tier, he wont be leaving that tier for a long time to come

Yes I did.
I’m a UGA guy. All those QB’s I lumped together are good and will win. But have not shown anything at the playoff level.

Stafford has always had injury issues. Much like Baker, a shoulder issue. When healthy, he can put up some numbers. Any QB would thrive with a complete team around them. That’s a no brainer.

Mahomes has been a dominant QB for awhile. One bad season and he’s not top tier? The media said the same about a certain #7 in Pittsburgh a few times.

I think the Eagles have a two-fold problem. Their OC/HC don't know how to use Jalen...

That being said, he's the 'type' of QB Coach Canada is looking for in his offense - just sayin'...

the hope was that Tua would be Kyler Murray 2
that's not panning out just yet.

Tua was good in college, but I don't believe he's gotten over that severe injury (mentally).

Mayfield, to me, is a decent QB. Nice arm, mobile, and dynamic. He has a good offense in Cleveland when he has the weapons on the field. Lately, OBJ hasn't hit his stride yet from the ACL tear last year, Landry is hurt and Chubb was also hurt. Womanbeater was hurt a few weeks ago.

when Chubb and Womanbeater were on the field, Mayfield looked really good.

I actually thought Mayfield had a chance to be a decent nfl qb. Has a good arm and is mobile enough to evade pressure. But damn he can’t hit the broad side of a barn.
Tua wasn’t ever that high on. I think I had him graded in the 2nd/3rd round.
