Turd wants to be flushed

He's not coming here since he's aiming for a Super Bowl win.

The Ravens in the NORTH would be his best option.
Watt is entering his last season of his extension. Wonder if he will extend this off season or simply play out his contract.

hebig and highsmth arent Watt.
Again from purely the business side, Watt will be 31 during the season and will command a massive contract extension. Unfortunately the Steelers completely wasted his prime not winning a playoff game. This team isn't going to do anything until it finds a QB who can overcome the coaching shortcomings and put a team on his back. Trading Watt would just provide the Steelers with the ammo to make such a move for a QB. Let me also reiterate I don't want or think they should actually trade him.

We would be doing Watt a favor. Like you said I wouldn’t want it. But next season might be the right time to trade up…

He sees how the Steelers fall apart on D. I seriously doubt he would want to come here.

In an unrealistic view a team with Watt and Myles would look scary.
He said his reason for wanting the trade is to win it all....yeah, he won't be coming here.

Hearing Rumors that Ward and others may be right behind Garrett...
what the Browns probably need to do is blow it all up.

Find a way to package players and cap space... trade their first this year and two years from now and whatever else it takes for some team to take Watson, then trade all the older players for picks... suck this year, draft a new qb next year...

You get enough decent picks from trading the vets that you can replace the picks you deal to dump Watson, and you clean up the cap going forward

Not sure how Watson is an out, think the best thing they could do is cut bait.

Given Watson is out for 2025 and will cost $92m for any team that trades for him why would any team trade for him? Even if a team receives picks as well as Watson, it hamstrings that team's salary cap and sends a bad message to the rest of the locker room.

And I can't see how the Browns can blow it up much. The dead money hits (even for trades) make it almost impossible for the Browns to unload many of their high earners unless they keep Watson. The dead money hits will mean they won't have enough cap space to field a 53 man roster in 2025 if they trade Watson and a few other high earners. Watson, Ward, Garrett alone add up to $150m in dead money if traded and they still have seven players left with cap hits of $10-20m each, 6 of them with similar dead money hits if traded. Even if they make Watson a post 1 June trade it just pushes a huge amount of dead money into 2026. However you slice and dice it, Browns are basically screwed for the next two years, probably three or four, given the only way they can get out of cap purgatory in 2025 will be to extend some of their high earners and/or convert 2025 salary to signing bonuses which just defers purgatory to 2026.

$172m cap hit to do that. If post 1 June cut it's still a $118m cap hit in 2025. The Watson contract, plus a few of their other big contracts mean the Browns are basically screwed for at least two years, probably 3-4 years.

They tried to correct the mistake they made by adding voidable years and restructuring, but they are still stuck with Watson for two years at least. That doesn't mean they can't dump other guys. If the idea is to blow it up, start from scratch. Then cap money isn't really a concern, you're gonna lose a lot and get high picks, you just have to nail those picks.
