So I guess if Timmons needs a breather Vince Williams comes in and if Shazier needs a breather in comes dirty red.

I guess it also depends, if it's a running situation and Shazier needs a breather we might see timmons and williams paired

I could see that.... Dirty Red could see reps on third in pass coverage situations..............

That means Dirty Red will see snaps in the opener. They rotate the LB's periodically throughout the games.

Maybe for OLB, have you seen Timmy's snap counts? He's in on nearly 100% of the D snaps.

It may change on 3rd down now if Shazy is healthy.

Dirty Red only sees snaps on D if there's an injury. He might not even be active - I don't care what the depth chart says.

Dirty Red might be our 2nd best coverage line backer. I wonder if he's going to change his jersey number?

Team site doesn't have his new number yet. Doubtful its 44 since Shabbaz is on the PS. 57 seems to be his next number after they get a settlement/waiver for Kevin Anderson. LB hurt early in camp.

Last year, it was around 95%. Prior years were 98%+ for 3 straight years. Didnt watch last year, but, from what I've read, it was the first year in several that it was noted he came off of the field.

Good for "Dirty RED". Hope other teams don't think he's a dirty player..................

Yes, last year they started taking Timmons off the field on 3rd down. But I doubt Dirty Red will go in on 3rd. It will be a safety.

It doesn't matter if a player is a UDFA on injury waiver or a PS player, rostered players at the beginning of the year, have the say for what number they want.

If a vet is on IR, that's different.

Dirty Red is going to be a special teamer his rookie year. He will get very limited snaps on defense. Glad to have him
