Updated projected compensatory picks for Steelers 2026 NFL draft

The 100th pick in the draft won’t entice someone to part with a 1st rounder. Maybe move up in the 3rd a bit.

Won’t happen this year unless ARod, Mason, and Skylar all get hurt. Even then, they’d probably sign a vet.

The problem is you think that, I think that, 90% or more of SN thinks that…but the HDIC is just happy he is the coach.

If Tomlin gets to 9-8 I can see a 2-3 year extension happening rather quickly cuz Art, well he’s just that sort of dipshit

He’s a 6th rounder who hasn’t seen a single NFL snap, he will factor zero into how high they draft a QB, nor should he.

If in the QB competition that occurs (post drafting of said QB early in the draft) Will shows well, then that is just icing on the cake. They sure aren’t altering their draft strategy for a 6th round pick that couldn’t even get in a snap…and no way is Tomlin turning to the completely inexperienced rookie with such a prestigious Tomlinship on the line.

Just another camp darling until he proves otherwise.

These last two seasons have resulted in sound off during the game and this season I actually turned off two games. I am too Steelers obsessed and can’t let it affect my mental health. If anything I should be quicker to turn it off.

When viewing I want to see a competitive game into the 4th. I fully expect anything attached to this HC to fall way short of overall expectations. But in a game to game basis I want yeah to see it competitive. A new coach my patience would more than likely be greater. Not now with the same repetitive crap year in and year out.

There are so many things in the “Tomlin Way” this is absolutely mind blowing.

1). He will sit Will Howard just because of his draft rnd #.

2). He ONLY starts rookies when he is forced to (Hammond/JPJ/ examples), Yaya Black is very limited, yet has made a difference when in (why not more play time).

3). Developement of young talent through the draft has been a forever problem with this HC. His current roster (I believe is 2nd oldest in the NFL) geriatric proof of putting veterans over rookies/young players.

4). Although I feel drafting has been getting better as of late, I feel there is even better drafting to be had. We can only wait to see the Developement and results of Kahn and Weild team. How much hand has Tomlin had (KFP is an example of a big and years set back) in who to pick / ect..

Agreed, he wants no part of a rebuild and this QB musical chairs won’t be viable when TJ and Cam are at the end.

I have two sofas and can put an air mattress in the basement. Always willing to accommodate.
 
while i believe Howard would be one of the top 3 QBs this draft, the only QB i'd entertain drafting is Haynes King from Georgia Tech.
 
The way I look at it will be a once and a lifetime experience for Steelers fans. So whoever wants to see it badly the door here is open.

With traffic I am 40 minutes , no traffic 20 minutes away from the stadium.

if they truly get the 1 to 1.2 million they forecast it will be nuts. I had a reasonable airbnb found about 6 months ago and I didn't grab it. I tried to book a hotel the second they were available online but the instantly started at 800 to 1000 or more a night downtown and 400 a night in anything safe to sleep in within 50 miles.

I looked too. They reserved a bunch of hotels in blocks and yeah elevated all the priced anywhere from times 8 to 10 times greater than the original prices. The Airbnb’s actually beat them to the punch. Bunch of money greedy arseholes…

I could drive up and back in a day. It is only just under 4 hours from house, but it is a long drive back after partying. I have friends in Sarver but that is a hall to the stadium.
I may head up.
