I was scrolling thru channels , started watching a game between dallas and louisville..

Louisville was picking off this qb left and right.. Great plays.

Anyway i looked up who their defensive backs coach is.. Its Chris McCallister, in his first season as a coach.

I was super impressed. I know he was a former raven,, but wow.

What have you seen in the USFL that you care to share?

I like how greater distance FGs can score 4 points.

Flow of game seems more conducive to TV viewing pleasure. NFL has to many game stops whether penalty or commercial.

Keep in. Mind that the talent level isn’t near the NFL, yet can equal some of the better college teams. I also don’t think coaching is directly transferable to the NFL.

I still like watching it as it is a great change from the GREED Machine.

I think that some positions transfer well. WR for one. Kickers, too.

Me too. Why not reward it?!

The UFL is also experimenting with sensors in the football for speed / rotation / velocity / first down spotting.

Another real cool thing is they are putting remote cameras on referee hats. They are controlled by a person who will keep the action centered up. They plan on portions them on coach / OC / DC / so to give the fan the ultimate field experience.

I think if they can keep their payroll / officiating / field rental / cost(s) under control, they may have a sustainable chance.

The NFL should look as this league to be sort of a Farm Club league.

The AFL Football league started out independent and because they gained competition to the NFL, they integrated together to form the AFC & NFC conferences…………….. thus the NFL.

I don’t think those conditions will exist for quite some time but still the farm league may be viable to line of gain.

I like watching it knowing the level of skill is lesser, but the optioned enhancements are pretty cool.
