Wait, what? Experts weigh in on Steelers vs. Chiefs.

Why on earth are you still carrying cash money???
You would be amazed what you need cash for. Being an ex blue collar worker for one I like to tip. When I order out I tip, when I go places depending on the situation I tip. Some places actually even prefer cash. Boats n hoes.

How many of those experts picked tge Browns to beat us last year? Just saying…..
The Browns were 5.5 point underdogs playing a team that had lost 4 of its last 5 games. The Steelers are 12.5 point underdogs playing a team that has won 9 out of its last 10 games. Huge differences there.

Momentum is an illusion… any given sunday. Andy Reid teams spent a lot of time getting too cocky and choking once upon a time…

Got em right where we want them...🤣

Worse loss in my very long history of watching horrible sports losses…. To a teen that never experienced a super bowl in his grown up life that was heartbreaking …
Yep...That one hurt bad...I threw our keg across the yard afterwards. The neighbors were probably concerned. :) I remember wondering before that game if the team was overconfident and not entirely focused. Even back then there was a weird tendency to not totally dominate teams they should have destroyed. Not saying SD was a bad team but bad teams were their Achilles heel.

Sid Bream scoring in the bottom of the 9th to kill the Bucs last shot at a World Series is still the #1 worst loss for me with losing to Dallas in SB XXX number 2 and that game against SD #3

For me its tge 94 AFCCG #1, the bream Braves loss #2, the pens loss to the isle in 93 #3, then the 95 super bowl #4 and the 01 AFC CG #5. But like on a heartbreak scale of 1-100 the San Diego loss was like a 98 and the bream loss might have been a 90…. All the rest were in the 80’s..

I definitely fried an old tube tv throwing my drink at it when they lost that 94 game

Yep..Who would have expected us to lose to San Diego back in the day?

That may have been the year some of the players decided to make a Super Bowl rap video.

I remember the image like it was yesterday of DB Tim McKyer being nearly carried off the field by security guards... So distraught over the loss he nearly fainted was the rumor.

edit / disclaimer - turns out, these picks are against the spread. I jumped the gun thinking theses *experts* thought we stood a chance. I still think we do, for whatever it's worth.

I thought with Green not playing and Adams replacing Buggs that the play improved. Perhaps not to a strength but marginally.

Definately improved but I think Green is ready and coach Tolin may put him in, hope not though.

I found a $50 bill right beside my porch last week. I had the same feeling then as I do about the Steelers just making the playoffs.
When I went to put the 50 in my wallet, I noticed that I was missing .... yep, a $50 bill. (Must've fell out when I was tipping the pizza guy). When I realized that the $50 I "found" was probably my own $50, I felt less ecstatic, but happy that it was there waiting for me. I imagine that's the feeling I'll have IF the Steelers lose Sunday night. Less happy than if they happen to win, but happy that they were there nonetheless.

Where do you live and what's your PizZa ordering schedule ?

Love the anology and hear what you are saying. Many here have expressed they'd rather have lost to gain draft pick order. I say Ka-fowy to that nonsense, always play to win as playing to lose is a mentality that is hard to right that ship. Imagine the football world when the STEELERS advance to next round.

Can’t wait till Monday morning. It’s going to be turnover city for Kansas City…

I’m still bothered by the 2013 eastern conference final. Pens/Bruins. That Pens team was loaded all 4 lines. To get swept by a team the Pens were outplaying. Bothersome.

2018 national championship. UGA had a magical run that season. They were up at halftime too.

I don’t think I can ever get mad enough over a spectator sport though to throw remotes or drinks at the tv. That concept there is silly. I always tell my wife yelling at the tv makes no difference if the Pens play better lol. They will not hear her

Yeah, upsets exist. That's why they play the games. But I'll take a team that has been playing well versus one that hasn't.
