I can't keep track of it all. Maybe others know:
Harmon: out at least first two games.
Kuntz: looks like he might be ready week one.
Austin3: returning to light work. No clue.
TE Smith: haven't heard F'all in forever.
Howard: probably IR to begin. Buys them some time to sort out some stuff.. plus his finger probably isnt ready.
Any othere? Or more recent info?
 
Who the **** really knows! Everything seems like it’s a big secret!
We’re damn fortunate that the rookie Derrick Harmon only has a sprained knee and looks like maybe just miss the Jets game.
 
Good day to write this. Good team updates. Jonnu, Calvin Austin and Trice returned largely to practice. With two weeks left almost certain with no setbacks Austin and Smith will be good to go.

We have Tomlin and A A Ron......I was told nothing else matters. I hope I was told correct. Also on the Harmon front. Cam is back!!!!! He might be one of the all time greatest lockerroom leaders in Pittsburgh... .EVER!!!!! He is at least good for one play off win this season alone....no?

A A Ron a second. No?

Tomlin's greatnes a 3rd. No?

I am buying all in again this season. Just like I did last season. I come in as my doubtful self and read to many damn steelerinlebanon posts and he gets my hopes all up.....🤪

I might be in minority but I think this 4 TE formation could be something. You are going to have to bring in bigs and at least 2 if those guys are a matchup problem for bigs. Muth and Jonnuvision. I also really like Washington and DK stacked to one side inside the 10.

I always have hope. I wear it right on my sleeve and I have short sleeves so it sticks out in a major way. I always truly hope they come out with athorative production and Tomlin somehow changes things up.

I’m all over winning and giving them the chances needed. Even when mathematically eliminated I’m rooting for the diamond in the rough to be staked out and all players to progress for the next up coming season.

I get5 pissy and dismissive just like anyone. I expect more than can be delivered but then again I have pretty high Steelers Way Quality Expecdtations.

I want to kick sand into anyone and everyone who gets in the way……..

I am always willing to eat CROW, preferably BBQ’d and with a lot of SRIRACHA sauce…………

I have no worries and no gambling of any kind, but my heart pumps Black & Gold

20-0 untill proven otherwise…………..

Yes he is always positive, very optimistic and I like that about him.
I wish I could get myself that optimistic about this football team but I’m struggling with it.
I simply far too many variables with this team, so, so many things have to fall into place.
We shall see!

I’ll stick with my 1WR, 3TE, 1RB offense 90% of the time

Another meaningless Tomlinship while backing into a chance at a playoff berth, only to see the D give up 35+ points again in yet another 1st round loss
 
Whether it's actually 4 or three of the four and Warren or another back. It's at least something different. Something teams might not be built for or prepared to face.

I can see the attractiveness of that.

I think we might have to cool our breaks on Mt. Washington. He has a solid training camp and I think he will definitely show improved. If you told me in the red zone amp up the percentage perhaps. As you like his blocking ability there as well as his height in pass catching.

Washington (red zone threat strong blocker)
Austin ( here we go speed racer)
Wilson (also had a good camp)( strong blocker)
Muth( good at plenty)
Jonnu (great route runner)

These 5 snaps should be dependent on defense faced.

I think you want Jonnu and DK on the field to help move the chains and stretch the field. They dictate reps.

A team with weak outside corners? You rotate in Wilson and Austin. If they are also weak on the inside put in both.

A team weak against the run? You put in Washington and Muth. Or Washington and Wilson

A team weak inside pass coverage? You put in Muth and Austin.

A great pass rushing team? You put in Washington and your second best blocker if that is Muth or Wilson whatever. This can be your three TE sets…



Sort of how I am thinking, let me know if yinz see different.

Jonnu is a better blocker (and receiver) than Muth...

Sure, but i hope that with the WR group and the TE group, where we get to see 4 of 10 on the field, that DK and one of Austin/Wilson and two of Smith/Muth/Washington get most of the reps.
I hope more that Ayahuasca A-Ron gets the personnel HE wants on the field as much as possible.

For those clamoring for 3 TEs, 1 WR setups much of the time, that means a lot of Lil Heyward over Austin/Wilson. Why would you want that?

Obviously, as long as he is healthy. Same goes for Washington, great blocker but has to be available.

I hope I don’t obtain the Jen Swaine syndrome………………
