Watching the game tonight?

I sense the Steelers coming out flat and unispired, as par for the course. However, they tend to do that more after bye weeks. IF we win, we win by 3.

I hope yaz wrong Steelerlyn. I think they come out well prepared but slow start. Then open up, win by 10. I still have that uneasy feeling with this team, like nothing is a gimme.

I would love to be proven wrong....but I just don't get that feeling.....

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to SteelBuckeye again.

Steelers usually look flat for 3 qtrs after a bye. It's a given. We need to approach this game like Luck and the Colts. Keep Brees off the field, but when he is in there, hit him hard and often.

I love quotes pulled completely out of people's *****. The Tomlin coached Steelers are 6-1 after the bye. The only loss was his first season here against the Broncos. CLEARLY they are flat and uninspired after bye weeks. ::eyeroll::

first article that comes up when googling this: http://nicepickcowher.com/2014/11/23/pittsburgh-steelers-bye-week-mike-tomlins-record-bye/

In all of the wins, no team has scored more than 14 pts against us after the bye.

All the Steelers need do is study the film of the Rats vs. Saints game. The Rats ran all over them at will and their secondary is worse than the Titans. The Saints couldn't cover Steve Smith and shouldn't be able to cover Antonio Brown. Take away Brees INT and they could have won that game. Not because they matched up that well with the Rats, Brees is turning the ball over more this year. He is 22 TD's and 11 INT's, a little sketchy compared to previous years. NO lived off of Defensive turnovers, they're not getting them this year.
The Steelers need to get control of the game from the jump and put a thumping on the Saints, they'll need the momentum for KC and Cincinnati.
Watch the film boys, I'm telling ya.

The Steelers of "now" have a serious issue playing teams that they apparently feel are beneath them and this Saints team definitely fits that mold. Having lost to the Ravens, the Saints meet all the requirements for a classic "Trap Game" for the Steelers.

The Saints need the game. The Steelers expect to win it walking away without even trying. I mean if the RAVENS can beat down the Saints on the road, how hard can it be for the Steelers to win at home? It'll be a cake-walk. I imagine half the starters are texting during the walkthrough before the game.

Nope this is the kind of game the Steelers have gotten blown out of in recent years. Sadly these are the games that make me really really nervous.

I feel pretty much the same. Maybe it's because this team is Bipolar. Whether that's a result of young and unproven guys being thrown into the fire, older vets sometimes playing like OLDER vets, coaching or a mix of all of them, I don't know. I sure wish they'd start playing consistently well though.
