Every D player in the league punches or slaps at the ball to get it out. Are they now not supposed to knock the ball out of the opposing player's hands? This is completely asinine.
I have it on good authority that it will come out at the same time the apology from the NFL officiating committee is broadcasted to explain " WTF" happened with the review
You guys. When the play was happening I didn’t see it was TJ,but I did think ,what the **** is that guy doing. It definitely seemed a bit excessive. Fineable. I don’t think so. Penalty on the play. Yes.
Now if the situation was reversed and some guy was swinging away at Ben or Naj excessively,I get the feeling there would be an outcry for fines.
curious as to when the refs finally blew the whistle once Minkah had him stacked up to end the play.
If the swings came after the whistle go ahead and fine him if not ......... ???????
If Watt wants to get his money worth for fines of sucker punching balls on the field of play he needs to train with the best
Andrew the Nutcracker Golota ........just ask Riddick Bowe
I don’t think he was going apeshit. He was trying to pry a ball loose. Players are stupid but can distinguish between a football move or someone losing their cool.He was punching at the ball, but im sure alot of those shots did not hit the ball. You just cant go apeshit and start punching around the ball. Sooner or later its going to start a brawl. Just dont think its a good precedent to set to allow players to wildly punch at the ball on a wrapped up guy.
I agree. TJ has to 'know' where the line is and the act was overly aggressive. I'm not justifying the fine (I'm not paying it either) but I don't think he needed to 'keep punching' at the ball at that point. JMHO...You guys.
