This is the Big one.

Can the Steelers keep control of their own destiny?

Will Lamar finally show up in a steelers game?

Can a great O, great Run D, and miserable pass D and ST defeat a team thats just above average in each?

Can The Steelers keep their Hairball winning streak going?

How many trolls will show up if The Purple Peckers win?

The way I hope the Steelers attack the Ravens today is by going agressive and trying to get ahead early. This will help take Henry out of the game. If they go with their typical Ravens game plan of keeping it a slug fest-they may have a better chance of losing.

I thought last week was the big one? We got this. All that is on my mind is thank God we got Preston Smith before the Highsmith injury.

It's like for once since the 2005 run the ball is bouncing our way more times than not.

So Tomlins quotes about their pass D honestly makes me afraid that we are going to come out running on them for the first two quarters... that means Im expecting another heart attack 4th quarter for this game, where the Ravens try not to blow another substantial lead and the Steelers make a late game furious comeback.

The Ravens will only have two guys likely out from injury, Arthur Maulet is out and Travis jones is Questionable

They also have kept Eddie Jackson home.., I'm guessing he is benched for Tradavious White

The steelers have a bigger injury list
CB C.J. Henderson (neck)
LB Alex Highsmith (ankle)
TE MyCole Pruitt (knee)
CB Cory Trice Jr.
RB Jaylen Warren (back)

This game will almost certainly have some unexpected trickery and tactics

Among the steelers potential unsung heroes are Calvin Austin in the slot, Muuth finally getting a key role, and Patrick Queen blitzing... and of course an expanded role for Mike Williams... plus Herbig will be back... and people still dont acknowledge his pass rushing chops yet.

Of course the Ravens are going to Use DJ more... but two lesser names to watch out for are Isaiah Likely , the TE2... and RB3 Keaton Michell.. who has huge play potential but has been recovering from an ACL last year..

Losing this game puts us even with the Ravens in losses, and gives them the temporary tiebreaker.

Winning means Two less losses, and the temporary tiebreaker.

The loss means we probably have to win the rest of the division games to get the tiebreaker off of them and match them in regular record down the stretch.. that includes beating them in Baltimore.. plus Baltimore's extra game played because they haven't had a bye week flips from an extra loss to an extra win

A win means all we have to do for the tiebreaker is either win in Baltimore or sweep the ohio teams plus we are effectively two games up on them

It probably a flip from a chance to win the division in the mid 40% to something over 70%...

I feel like if this game was earlier in the year, Id be more confident we win it... we tend to blow these key games that really set the team up great down the stretch... then hustle late in the season to try to make it up

My NY strips are thawing and I've had a double shot of Tito's (hair of the dog)...

I fully expect our team to play lights out today - we have the most complete team of the two and Lamar can get flustered when he plays from behind.
I’m having strip steak too. Got em on sale, 3 with really nice marbling for $15.

I like Pruitt, bummed he’s not in the line up. I think with him in the line up-the running game is better. He’s a better blocker than Heyward and has better size.

I think Lamar has a little bit of what we had when we looked like world beaters...till we had to face Brady. At least that's my wish that we are in his head.

We are, and he definitely forces it in ganes vs us

Lamar is a better pocket passer than he used to be, but he still runs like 20some% of the time.. still high.. teams often keep a safety in the box and use an ilb to spy him, giving him way more space over the middle than typical defenses do... Tomlin doesnt do that and he always has everyone follow through on hits...
It rattles LJ and his wrs... last year those wrs dropped everything because Kazee was murdering guys in the chest every time the ball came close...

The question is can they contain Henry as they normally do without extra help... if Lamar has to pass vs a regular D all game he will look mortal

I had to double read the start of this.

I thought the the word Strips, at a glance said STRIPES and I thought WTF is that…….?

Once re-read and deciphered correctly, all makes sense now.

You changed out of your Jail cloths and had a little hair of the dog that bit yaz. You went to bed and turned lights out and tried to get a little from “behind” and MomA said no.

(from young guns quotes). “Just hacking on ya”

The Ravens are going to throw absolutely everything at us... that 1-7 record in the past 8 games isnt sitting well over there... if we win this, it legit could break that team...

We wont just because I want it too badly, lol... but if we did.., man its gonna be salty over at 24/7 for a month🤣

It's going to be like watching rockem sockem robots.

What a day to have a stomach bug...0 energy, don't feel like doing anything other than sleeping. Good luck!

Gonna throw this out here now.. the Ravens are allowing OVER 10 points per game in the 4th... nobody better give up if they take an early lead or even have a double digit lead going into the 4th...

Gotta throw the ball down the field vs their last ranked pass to win today and give Russ the time to do it. Can’t run the ball into the teeth of their defense too much which is their strength

The other big thing imo is this is the best Rats offense they’ve had in a long time vs. Tomlins ability to control and get the best of Lamar in the recent past

I think we need to score over 24 points to win. I wouldn’t feel very comfortable if Lamar gets the ball last
