Week 14 Game Thread

Drew Lock hasn't started a game since 2021 and is 16/22 for 215 yards and 2 TDs against a very good 49ers defense. When is the last time a QB for the Steelers has had a stat line like that let alone against a top defense?

Jacksonville just lost the the Bengals and Browns with a backup and 4th string QB. Miami has struggled against playoff teams. San Fran will be very tough on the road. A very tough schedule, but winnable games.

I can tell you this, he doesn’t have time to watch the Sunday games as he is busy in the lab, concocting the game plan for our up coming game. He will leave no stone un turned to come through with what is needed.

Besides, it’s not like he would learn anything………….

I agree mahommes isn't the same without tyreek, what does that have to do with pickett?
If Pickett was any good he would have flashed something in atleast 1 career game. Browning has 3 career starts and has looked better than Kenny ever has in every single start. Same for flacco this year.
Pickett looks horrible throwing even the easiest throws you could ask for. He can't throw a 3 yard pass to a rb accurately.
 
Toney lined up a few inches offsides to prevent this play from counting.

If the Steelers didn't screw up this past week they'd be 9-4 right now and in 5th place sitting just a game back from Baltimore.

Mahomes is really mad at the refs. From what I've seen, Mahomes should hug a ref every day of his life. I'm shocked they didn't bail him out again.

My point is every QB in this offense has looked bad. Pickett has flashed as evidenced by his 4th Q comebacks and at one point was the highest rated QB in the 4th Q. I think the book is still out on Pickett. If you have guys in your face 90% of drop backs you are going to get happy feet and bad habits. If WRs are not schemed open then the QB is going to look bad. If the defense knows what pay is coming the QB is going to look bad. The whole offense is a hot mess and it starts with coaching. Next is the oline which is also partly coaching. The WR crew is inconsistent and lazy. It is hard to blame the QBs when WRs are not where they are supposed to be or taking plays off. You can insert any QB into this offense and i bet we would have the same results. Puckett needs real blocking and a real scheme.
 
Mahomie needs to be mad at #19 I think.

That guy is as close to being the #1 Steelers WR as anyone in the league.

Every Chiefs game I have watched this year he has done something to cost them the game.

Shades would be proud.
 
I can see this being a losing season, UNLESS Rudy rides in and saves the day. Seriously though. I see Indy and the Kitty Cats just outright destroying us, we may get by the sea chickens {may} and I don't think we could beat the rats practice squad players right now. No matter what some may think Tomlin is not on the coaching level as Hairball.

7-10 here we come, get that 14th pick ready for us.
 
I figured once we were officially out of it I would pull for a phins/lions SB, but as much as I hate to admit it the cryboys are looking pretty damn good.
