Yes SIR, it's week 15 already
Not one single person to my knowledge, said our beloved STEELERS would be 10-3 at this point of the schedule. We are definitely on a better ride than the 11-0 season. This season just seems so much REAL and actually able to accomplish something---------- that something being a play off win for many, but also quite possibly 2 playoff wins for me.
-----Some are talking about the inter rumblings of the Eagles and how that will affect the play in the negative way. I say, using my best Granny voice from Outlaw Josey Whales....... " that don't mean diddly-squat". When that whistle blows, all bickering will be put aside, and we are getting their A-game.
DangRUSS will again lead by example. He will be hurried early, but settle down, along with the OL, and things will come easier. Najee will be a big factor in both rush & pass. I think Freiermuth will be more used / targeted this game. He catches everything his way and I think the eagles D can be exploited by use of the TE. Who will step up this week, not just for Pickens being absent, but to out dual this great defensive foe (albeit banged up a little).
Our 1st priority on D is to contain their MVP candidate, make them beat us with the pass. I think the OLBs are going to have to be careful about taking themselves out of the play. Patience and set the edge will be huge, and it can be done. The interior DL will take care of the middle. Joey Porter will be better and this is his week for a PICK (you heard it here 1st).
In any event, Steelmann hasn't posted TV coverage yet so I don't know if I get the game. My back up plan is XM radio and gameday thread. + cooking something simple good.

STEELERS at Eagles
1st Tie Break
How many points will the Wizard of BOZ score ?
2nd Tie Break Total yards receiving from Muth & Mt. Washington combined
3rd Tie Break 5 - 14yr old Lads stole a car, went across state line to a bar and ordered hard liquored drinks, HOW many group total did they drink before leaving ?
--------- The rest of the story will be detailed in the winner announcement post----------------------------------------------------------
Coach Tomlin focus, TJ loud and echoed by Alex for 2, Cal3-n-STs, Bubbles blows his wad--------------------------------------- 25.5
jail-house fan-base, stampede rushing attach, haven't lost to us since 183 BC at home, ----------------------------------------- 19
1st tie break 8
2nd tie break 78
3rd tie break ---------------- It was a very eventful day, stay tuned cool and funny

I'll post a real cool, Steelers memorabilia, blueprint story for the next upcoming prediction thread. It's an actual 1st page cover off original Heinz Field set of blueprints.

We have as good of shot at coming out of there with a win as we ever have. I'm thinking the curse is lifted.!!!

We didn't beat them with Bradshaw or Big Ben - ain't happening with Russ either. Barkley alone could kill us with the running game. Eagles 30 Steelers 16. Boz is good for 3 FG and 1 XP for 10 total. Muth and Washington get 100 yards total.

We didn't beat them with Bradshaw or Big Ben
Bradshaw beat Roman Gabrial 27-0 on 11/3/1974
Rookie Ben trashed the Iggles 27-3 on 11/7/2004... after beating the cheats the previous week. Both were undefeated until becoming acquainted with Ben.
Ben again beat them 16-14 on 10/7/2012
And again 38-29 on 10/11/2020... all in Pittsburgh.

81 games with the Iggles. They lead the series 49-29-3.

While winning in Filthy sans our latest headcase, albeit very talented WR1, seems daunting, it could happen. Carolina gave them a game.

The 'gauntlet' will tell us who these Stillers are. Either dey iz or dey ain't.

He's referring to beating the Eagles IN Philadelphia, which the team hasn't done since 1965

Without a Pickens, it's going to be a miracle to push the ball down field against the Eagles defense.

steelers - 19
Eagles - 34

1st Tie Break How many points will the Wizard of BOZ score ? 13

Steelers take it in on the chin this week and get that last loss of the season *wink* out of the way before they make a run to clinch the division.

Eagles 31
Steelers 17

1st tiebreak: 5 points from Boswell
2nd tiebreak: 61 yards
3rd tiebreak: 10 drinks, 2 for each kid.

Rub your rabbit's foot.

If we win in Philly, some will be rubbing a different 1/4 foot………………….

I think the defense knows they really need to handle business this week so i see this a s pretty low scoring game.

us - 20
them - 17

Boz gets 6 points

our TE's combines for 130 yards

this one is tough I would have to assume that because you were kids you had the same amount to drink because no one wants to be the little *****. you are about the same age as me so back then it could have been Jack, Morgan, gin or tokillya, stage name Tequila. So remembering what I can of my own youth and taking into account our finances. I would say you probably had between 9 and 13 drinks apiece, so I will go with the higher end because I know you have never nor will you ever be a little *****.

my guess is 65. that is unless you got busted on they way then my answer is zero. lol

I’m reluctant making this prediction being that Pickens may not play, but if I must I can’t go against my tradition of never predicting the Steelers will lose.

Steelers 24
Yet another team named after a friggen bird 21

In case yinz are pondering about that, we have the Eagles, Cardinals, Falcons, Seahawks, Ravens.

…and the Jets.

I do the same thing, can't pick against em. With no Pickens and especially no Elliot which to me is as important as Pickens in this game as he is a good tackler and the Eagles are roadrunners this year(all on the ground) with Hurts and Barkley I don't see this happening. They also were turning the ball over early in the season...that ain't happening anymore. Reverse the scores and that's how I really feel.
