WhoAley Sheeeeee--ite, week 16 already
I hope all have been enjoying the ride !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we are coming off a hard loss. What could have been is hoping to not turn into a Groundhog Day reoccurrence. At 10-4 we still hold all the cards as we head into Baltimore to give them an asZ kicking.

It doesn't matter who is or who is not playing. It doesn't matter game plan, adjustments, talking heads, or what anyone here says as this is an "Arch Enemy" rivalry. It's been that way for a long time and is still the crown of rivalries in professional sports. "Arch" means only one and this is the one. Saturday is the season and beyond for this team, the players know it and have been tallying their Carrers' big games with this being the biggest.

A lot at stake as this would be homefield advantage for at least one playoff game, something that hasn't happened lately. Tomlin's "game Infront of you" should be front and center.!!!

As big as this game is, I'm confident in the outcome being in our beloved STEELERS favor,
I HAVE HOPE

BACK STORY: I met Jeff close to 1980, he was delivering pipe to my employer and there was a problem with order. My boss told him he'd have to unload it by himself as it was their mistake. Almost impossible to do. Boss went into office, I'd witnessed the event and about a minute later, I went into office and said hay Jack, I have customers caught up so I'll get that truck unloaded and get them outta here. Got no response so I went ahead and helped Jeff unload. Instant friends but, with in 2 minutes I knew he was a good person. Add in the fact he was a steelers fan. To this day we continue to be personal and professional best friends.
UP DATE: This took place during the construction of Kordell's House, AKA Hienz Field. Jeff is from Maryland and his whole family is from there. They give him a lot of harassment as he is the ONLY Steelers fan amongst them. His Brother-in-law bragged about the company he worked for (out of baltimore) was doing the electronics for our score board. With-in the banter Jeff asked him for the cover page of one of the blueprints. The BIL said see what he could do. Jeff also told them about me, how much of a Steelers MAN I was and really wanted to get it for me. Jeff went out to visit them and while there asked BIL again about the blueprint cover and explaining to him how much that would mean to me as I was by far the biggest sincere steelers fan he had ever known. Couple days later BIL had Jeff over for BBQ and low and behold, gave him the cover sheet saying he asked his boss, and it was ok.

All this was un-Benoist to me.

Jeff got back and set a business lunch with me. We get to place to eat, and he comes in with blueprint and lays it out, drawing a small friend crowd as we were at my popular sports bar. He told the story of how he obtained it an how he wanted to get it for me due to my loyalty and unsurpassed fandom. I was so taken aback I dang neared cried, thanking him profusely. I went and got 6 full size professional copies made, of course giving Jeff one as that's all he wanted. I held the copies with a vow to give a copy to ONLY the most elite STEELERS fan(s) I come across. I have given only 1-copy away and it was to a very deserving fan but more importantly, friend.

This Blueprint cover page is absolutely amazing and a true live piece of Heinz Field. It is my most valued Steelers possession, not just for the physical page, but for the true meaning and passion it took from those to make it to fruitarian for me. Thank You Jeff

I'd like to hear any and all stories of Steelers memorabilia, big or small but most important as to why it means so much to you.

Thank You to all who read my story, appreciate yaz.

Thank You to slash for prizes and postage, some of you winners should let us losers know what kind of loot slash is sending out............

Tomlin just has something on these guys.

Steelers defense once again blows a 4th qtr lead, but Russ pulls something out of his hat and sets up Boz for a game winning 50+ FG Steelers 20-18.

I don’t like picking the Steelers to win at their house without Pickens, but I can’t help it.
Looks like TJ will play.

Men of Steel 17
Ratbirds 16

1. 0/2 0
2. 45
3. 4

We're already in the playoffs, Tomlin has his non-losing season, Pickens is apparently out. All boils down to a Steeler loss, 30 - 16. Mike Williams gets no completions and no attempts since he plays WR. Figure total returns maybe 85 yards.

Week 16….Man time flies. Got a bad feeling about this one Ladies and Gentleman. Ravens are very healthy. Sooner or later Lamar will have a good game against us. I think they will be gunning for us here.
Like him or not Lamar is having a good season. 34 TDs …3 interceptions. 68% completion. Throw in 750 yards rushing + 3 TD’s. we could only dream about that type of production at QB position in the last 5+ years.
Will it be a shoot out?

B&G-20
Horse Faces old team-34

Mike Williams 3 completions in 5 attempts for 34 yards.
Special Teams 98 yards
40 pound bags- 7 1/4 bags. Tell these birds to go visit your neighbors once in a while.

I don’t have a ton of memorabilia. Always wanted to make a little cave when I was younger but never had the room with 4 kids.
My two favorites are the Terrible Towel from the game I have seen in Pittsburgh. And my kids when they were wee little people bought me this beautiful very heavy Steelers X’mas ornament. It’s quite beautiful. And of course the only jersey I own, hand picked by myself in Beijing,China,Mr. Jack Lambert. It’s actually great quality. I was stopped on the Great Wall in the middle of absolutely nowhere for a picture wearing the jersey. The Husband and Wife were from South Korea and they recognized the uniform because of Hines Ward.

This is based off Watt (and maybe Larry O) as the only ones returning from injury. Expect a tough game without DJ or Elliot and no offense again without GP and the closer JF.

1st tiebreak: 2/3 25 yards
2nd tiebreak: 43 yards
3rd tiebreak: peyote…lotsa peyote 2 40 lb bags and the eagles think they’re ducks

Williams 3/5 49 yards (I assume you meant receptions/targets not completions/attempts as a QB)
Special Teams 68 return yards
40lb bags - 5 3/4

Excellent catch, sometimes I have a lot going on and clarity seeps away.

I have a Jack Lambert Home Jersey. Love it to death and bought it in Pittsburgh.

I’m a plumbing specialist and a long time ago, in my town, I was in charge of plumbing this Motel 6. Early spring it started and I always talked and got along with all trades. I put 5 gal buckets around the job sites and asked everyone if they could put their aluminum can empties in there. I told them I was collecting the cans to cash in this fall as I was going to a STEELERS game and was going to use the m,only to buy me a STEELERS Jacket. Guys started doing it for me and even a lot of them switched from bottles to cans to help the cause. I was so appreciative of them for that and told thank you all the time. Needless to say, buy the time I cashed them in and went to PITTSBURGH, I had enough to buy a super nice Leather STEELERS jacket. It’s was back in the mid 90s and a rare one that has the

Pittsburgh
Steelers
big helmet on the back

The sports shop down town sold it to me and it was pretty expensive at the time. He said it was rare and I talked him into throwing in an autographed Jack Lambert photo. He was a great store owner and I told him where I was from. Great experience. Pretty high up on my memorabilia………

Thanks Steelmann, love your antidotes along the way.

EDIT: It cost around $367.00 and yes, I paid for it in full from my aluminum can collections.
