Week 2 at Cheatriots Game Day Thread

The offensive line is just horrible and you could see it at camp just as you could last year! The left tackle should be our left guard! He could be a passable guard but he is not a tackle not strong enough not quick enough not technical enough not mean enough! put cook back at left tackle start the rookies on the right side let the chips fall at least we’ll find out if they can play in the nfl. The line is embarrassing it couldn’t move an average big ten defense right now

The only reason Pickens is behaving and putting in effort where he is now is because Dallas is his wake up and smell the CFL moment. That was never happening here.

Now you can argue we got screwed on the trade. Not many would argue against that.

He’s a generational talent and apparently DK is not exactly “well-behaved” either.

Pickens drops were also very costly last week.
 
So since I have a bunch of chores to do, let me save time by focusing on the positives for this clown show:
  • DK Drops did not punch a fan
  • A-A-Ron made a nice tackle.
That's all I got.

I don't understand the point of playing Musical Chairs with the guys on the O-line. Flip Flopping Cook & Fautanu & doing the same with McCormick going from RG to LG. Where is our #1 draft pick Max Iheanachor? Get Cook out of the starting lineup or maybe move him to Guard? Fautanu is terrible at LT....move him back to RT. Start Iheanachor at LT he can't be any worse than any of these bums! And Zach Frazier should be on a short leash too.....he played pretty piss poor today. McCollum might be the better option. McCollum IMO could be one of the starting Guards on this team.....He's more versatile than Spencer Anderson for sure!

Why did Mike McCathy not go Max Protect on Offense? Not one friggin play?
 
The OL stinks, but having to pass protect 39 times for a QB with limited mobility and one that doesn't like throwing deep all too often is a tall task. They aren't setting this unit up for success--especially with 4 out of 5 spots with new starters.

Howard? Allar? Neither, Mikey has the boys playing for a top 5 pick this year. That will be spent on the next starting QB.

Pickens would never have been controlled under Tomlin. Now, McCarthy needs to get his big boy pants on and sit Metcalf for a spell. Those couple drops changed the game.
