Week 2 at Cheatriots Game Day Thread

McCarthy isnt a bad leader, but he isnt the kind of one that can keep a team winning consistently with pitiful offense, like Tomlin somehow did year after year.

The Steelers just need to hope McCarthy's scheme eventually starts producing more points, as the defense still seems good enough to keep them in most games, despite the run defense getting gashed at times.

I reserve the right to pout, wail and gnash teeth over losses. That said, the silver cloud (that I hope not to see) would be losing enough games to get some quality players.

Losses I can handle. You’re not gonna win them all. Absolute garbage play and the same issues year after year after year is painful.

Yep, awful QB play and bad OL play is a constant. Fixing the first and the latter will improve.
 
Always remember. Jackson Dart was sitting there waiting for us. But of course knowing this organization and their fixation on Rodgers he would probably still be riding the bench to be tutored by the “mentor “. This organization has no balls sometimes.
I said it before he was hired,and after he was hired. Mike was hired to bring back Aaron. It was the safe route.

McCarthy needs to step up and get more creative. This is the reason I was concerned when Rooney hired an old school head coach. McCarthy needs to get his big boy pants on and sit DK for a spell. DK needs to settle down and there is no better place for that than on the bench.

I can't remember ever being this bored watching Steeler football in my life. They can do literally nothing on offense. Like watching paint dry. The O Line is completely atrocious. The announcers were making fun of them on the broadcast because Jaylen was hit at or behind the line of scrimmage in 10 out of 10 of his carries last week. They were speculating that may be a first in NFL history. That's how you know you are pathetic.

Makes you wonder why the rookies aren’t playing.
 
McCarty was the wrong hire for this team… keeping this team on life support, bringing in old players to make for bad drafting, is not working… over haul the the front office bring in a new young coach pair him up with a up and coming personnel man and let them rebuild this team in their image like they let noll and cowher. This tomlin-McCarty caretaker **** ain’t working.
 
JFC. Move Fauatanu inside or back to right tackle. Please show Anderson the ******* bench. You spent a mother ******* first round pick on Max I, and he is riding the pine healthy. They all looked like ******* human ******* turnstiles. This is ******* Graham's defense after two games. Looks more like Tomlin to me. Hey DK, if you're not going to catch the ******* football, can you please donate some of your salary back to the team so they can find some hump off somebody's practice squad to at least do what you're doing? My grandnephew's high school team looks better, and they haven't won a game all year.

Makes sense when your guy can't get downfield before a linebacker is in the QB's face. Remember also last week Roman and DK dropped catchable long bombs. One that would have been a TD.
 
DK has like 6 drops already in 2 games. Today's drops hit him in both freaking hands and no PI on the defender.
