Sorry for the late Peoples
Here we sit at 1-0 about to face a west coast team that has to come here. Nice for us not having to deal with the fate of traveling out there. Seattle comes to town only generating about 250 yards offense from last weeks game. Our Historic Defense (I say that in mock) should be much better and equipped to keep that pace intact for them. All though our offense isn't a proven fact, I still see us scoring enough to win. I also feel the OL will provide better protection than last week in which they scored 4TDs through the air (something was done right).
Seattle Seachickens ................................ AT ............................ PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Tie Breakers
1) Cam Heyward tackle for loss combined with team rushing TD total.
2) RB rookie Johnson yardage totals rush / pass / STs ........ example 31 / 7 / 46
3) the BOZ longest FG for the day
4) I purchased a side-by-side UTV in mint brand new condition.
It had ONLY 78 miles on it and 1yr/3months factory warranty left.
I've been using it flawlessly for about 3 months.
What does the odometer read in miles to the tenth, at the writing of this post ?
(bonus: comment on it's prime use)
Aaa-Ron lead, Historic D, SBWHCMVT, DK opening up emotionally, Terry Bradshaw 1/2 time comments..................... 28.2
Don't know much about the travel weary seachickens, Zorn out, Steve Largent gets 31yrds receiving............................ 19
Tie Break
1) 6
2) 16 / 8 / 63
3) 53
4) ???.? has been used to haul Lunar's girlfriend (also tested load limit), home from bar (Lunar's Home).
I'm going to be hitting on some topics that may offend / educate / entertain / solve curiosity / bull-**** / etc.
Nothing here is a personal attach or meant to be insulative to anyone's life experiences. We are all in our own
journey of life and raised differently than others. (Myself, I grew up very poor and little parental guidance on the
hard parts of life, none of which I am ashamed or embarrassed about.) I'll mostly use myself experiences in these..
HOT Topic.................... Death
I'm sure we have all experienced a death or two, myself this week a favored cousin (lifetime grew up together). I met my 1st death as a second grader
as my best friend died suddenly. I was sad, but also the 1st time I went to a funeral and actually seen a dead body (scary for my youthful age). In high school
I lost a classmate who was not close but knew him. Living on my own, I lost roommate to car crash. and then more deaths of relation etc.
........... I'm trying to say that the grieving process changes, the more life experience the more mature etiquette one gains. I didn't know enough to actually cry as a second grader, worried more about image and appearance as a high schooler and losing a young adult roommate was a transition of having to be the strong one. That hindered the grieving process dramatically.
........... Always having to be the strong one can be a heavy burden, losing parents / 2- brothers / holding up my sisters emotional-ism, never gave me a chance to grieve properly. One must know that it is OK to cry (I've told my son that), it's OK to ask for help, it's ok to ask questions. Be there for those in need and not to worry about some conceived etiquette that must be followed. Act from your heart, do what you know to be right, the truth will never hurt you. That's all part of being a real MAN. Thank You
Next weeks HOT TOPIC will be much lighter. I have a pre-conceived list but also open to suggestions of topic(s)
A reach out to Djfan knowing he is just a cool dude.
HUGE thank you to slash for his prizes & postage,
GREAT week of football discussions here.
Garden is coming to an end (we've had 2-light frosts), irrigation is full "stream" ahead as I'll be shutting pumps down soon, life's a smile.
