Week 5 Game Night Thread -Steelers Vs Cowboys

It might be the QB as it has been since Ben retired. None of them have been capable of just running the whole offense. They have had to keep training wheels on. Mason was the closest to being capable but he was too immobile.
Could be and that is why I at least want to see Russell Wilson get a shot even if we have a decent record when he is ready, because Im pretty sure Russell can handle a full offense. Why was he pushing a sled in practice anyway? He's 38 years old or thereabouts. Why would he be needing to push a sled? That is what hurt his calf, right???

backed up in the endzone and hand it to a practice squad guy over Najee. Interesting. Maybe they want a RB that hit the hole quickly.
With the push the O line had Najee would have gotten the first. The thing is you never know on any given play what O-line you're getting.

Welp.....bottom line 3 points in a half again. How many times in the last 4 years do we have 7 or under in the first half. It’s ridiculous. I mean how much of a difference has a new OC Made on the scoreboard.
The QB has made some bad decisions tonight. We have killed drives on penalties and fumbles. All that said we are only down 3 and Smith has shown half time adjustments that work in some games.

I know people hate it but I would use them both when healthy.

Offense needs to pull their head out of their ***.

Substandard football in regards to them…

Because he wanted to, it wasn't mandated. The coaching staff should not have allowed it. Russ could have kept drives alive in this game. Fields misses too many reads, too many open guys.

The slow starts on offense every week every season is mind numbing, just mind numbing.
The team badly needs a quality WR to compliment George. Van Jefferson is a practice squad guy and nowhere near a #2. Cal Austin they just don’t seem to know how to use.
Got to start using Muth in the second half.

He hasn’t looked terrible.
no not really, plus Najee does have the tendency to dance just a little if the hole isnt open and it kills his momentum because he cannot accelerate like Jaylen can.

And lets be honest, when Najee is in there, DAL stacks the box and some of the time is waiting in the backfield for him. That is because they do not fear Fields' arm at all right now.

I blame Tomblin. and Old man Rooney

This offense is just....sigh...

Anybody else think the Steelers aren't really trying to score? That's what it looks like to me.
Just run the ball, and if somebody breaks a long one, great. Otherwise, we aren't far enough behind to actually try on offense.
