Not saying the Steelers will win the division but stil so early to say anyone is winning it at this point. This is also the same team that almost lost to the jags and lost to the bears.

The same team that just beat the ravens and beat the Steelers earlier this season.
Sure they have some weakness in their game, but they’re getting it done against divisional opponents

i'm not so worried about the division long term. Cincy, Balt and Clev all have QBs on rookie deals. Time's up for Balt and Clev and both will have to pay up next year. They will start losing players real soon. As for Cincy, the clock is ticking.

I wonder if Cleveland will go after Rodgers. If they aren't sure about Baker, maybe they go after Rodgers because they have to win now before the team falls apart with cap issues. Might be able to get Rodgers on a cap friendly 2 year deal If he thinks he can win a ring there.

The Steelers are not in bad shape long term. If Ben retires, they should have pretty good cap space. The OL may be close to being fixed. Green and Moore may turn out to be good. We'll see what Banner has if he ever plays. Maybe a 1st round OT makes the OL a strength next year. The skill players with Najee, Freiermuith, DJ, and Claypool are good.. Add another WR through draft or free agency and it's a string group.

Then there's the defense. The front 7 is strong. Sutton, Maulet, Norwood, and Pierre are all decent. If they can get a playmaker in draft or free agency, the secondary can be very good again.

Of course there's the QB issue but ton's of teams are in that boat. Both Cleveland and Baltimore may actually be in a worse situation than having no QB, and that's paying huge money to a QB who is not the guy to get the job done.

Yep, and so does Tampa Bay. I've given up on hating Brady. At some point you just have to respect talent. Bad as I hate it, he just got his 600th TD. Can we handle Tampa?

Can we handle Tampa, he says!!

Banner is just a humongous person, there's nothing special about his abilities on the football field.

I know, but it's a nice dream. Just like the coaching staff all of a sudden turning into brilliant tacticians and amazing teachers.

Better the Bungles than the Stains...better the Rats than the Stains too. I know Ill get a lot of disagreement on the latter
I agree with you
While I hate Rats more it’s a great rivalry when both of us are good,
I can’t handle the Clowns being good too I need some comic relief!

If we don’t win next game we ain’t goin anywhere
i think it‘s our best shot to beat the Clowns,we had an extra week to prepare and they are banged up.
You're probably right but I only see the Chargers and Ravens as remaining losses - I think we split w/ the Ravens...

Rhetorical question. I do like your response though :ROFLMAO:

Why? I mean, I don't want any of them to win, but I'm sick of the Ravens.

I was gonna say if "if I had to explain, then you wouldn't understand" , but that wouldn't be fair.

Aside from my dislike of Mayfield, Garrett, and OBJ, it's more about their ******* fans. They are far worse than the Bungles and Rats.

I live near Cleveland (.5 mile away} , and you don't.

Did you ever hear Ben make any comments about Bengal or Rat fans?

Ben Roethlisberger on Browns’ Fans: “They like to get on us”

Steeler fans are toothless inbreds.

Good post and I get it, but in the past I never really considered Cincy or the Browns to be serious contenders for the playoffs. So when their fans at my work would talk smack I'd just laugh. The Rats have pretty much been a different story. Although this year I think the Bungals might be a problem.

I think you are right it is the closest thing to a must win without being a well must win. You want to stay on the plus side of .500 as if that hole is dug they might find it's harder to climb out of.

My daughter put a pic of Brady looking defeated sitting on his *** in the grass on the refrigerator. We both despise NE.
