Week 9 Colts Vs Steelers... gameday thread

A 10-point halftime lead on the 7-1 Colts??

Literally played for a FG with 2 minutes left.

FG's, soft zone, etc. Get this idiot out of here. We could have easily scored a TD if they didn't bleed the clock.

not going to complain about the time management it is better than giving the colts the ball back..We had plenty of time we just had a sack and penalty which were killers
 
Well who would have thought after the first 3 drives of the game(combined) we would be up 17 to 7 at half?

I'd rather score 7 and give them the ball than score 3 and not even try hard for a TD. What has happened to this franchise under Tomlick is criminal.

Yep. We give the ball back to the best O in the game. And got 3 points. That is a win. Now let's make those crucial adajustments here at half and finish this game out with a victory!!!!

Not really. We had a few chances to go EZ there but got a sack and penalty.

This **** is exactly what comes back to haunt you and lose games. Stupid ******* clock management from the HC who says he never lives in his fears.

Giving the Colts the ball back with :25 remaining? I’ll take the additional :25 and take a couple more shots at the end zone.
 
I have no issue just getting a FG there. They were in scoring territory and definitely needed to get the 3 and run out the clock so the Dolts didn''t get the ball back. My issue is why they are still so opposed to putting all your tall pass catchers in the game when inside the 20. With 15 seconds, they could have thrown it high into the endzone there 2 and possibly 3 times before kicking the FG. You have Metcalf, Washington, Muuth, and Smith all in the game and then maybe Austin or Roman. Instead, they had the short guys in the game.
 
I get we are fans but I sure do not get Porter coverage, secondary looked better when he is not out there. Colts over threw at twenty Porter chasing, the third down play if more time for their QB Porter chasing wide open receiver. You knew when the official talked to him on his first play, he was going to get caught holding interfering. Porter must not be coachable but brings zero to the defense. WE are up at half but are any of us feeling confident???
 
The Steelers did come out of that half in much better shape than it could have been. They were about to go down by 14 when we had our 1st turnover in forever. Those 3 turnovers were huge and then the O was able to get points on the board. That was huge!

:25 is more valuable to the Steelers near their end zone than it is to the Colts 70 yards away from their end zone.
