Welcome Home JPJ

i think he could become the best corner in the league hands-down. kid has instincts.

Will the coaching staff scare him off by sitting him/ coaching him to reposition just to make a safe tackle? or will the coaching staff simply tweek his contact technique?
That is what will determine whether Peezy2 is gonna be an All-Pro or not.
They already said no red shirt for Porter. He's going to be playing a lot as a rookie, probably in the starting lineup.

Jr is going to learn from Patrick Peterson. Smart vet teaching a young a pup who grew up around the organization.

Love the pick from a nostalgic purpose. But also from a Steeles personnel perspective. I think they knew signing Peterson was more than likely a maneuver to groom Porter Jr

Already noted to be fair that his handsy issues greatly improved his last season. I like where he was drafted as if he turns out to be just a solid number 2 corner that would be more acceptable being picked at the top of round 2 compared to pick 17. If he develops into a solid number 1 corner then that would be a major coup..
Fair assessment… i don’t think anyone had an issue with him as a 32nd pick… moreso the 17th over some of the other available picks because of his grabbyness and lack of big playmaking… he still has a good solid floor with high upside
