Well let me list the positives

Terrible game by every single player and coach. The only bright spot was the sweet TD catch by Muuuth.

It takes games just like this to make the organization the front office to realize just what it is we have. Art, Kevin, minority owners, execs, cannot be happy and this is what it takes to open their eyes.
Unfortunately for us fans we are going to have to live with more of this before it starts getting better. They have to realize that Ben is not anywhere what he once was. They have to realize the OL is in serious need of a rebuild. They have to realize the running game has not improved.
We are in rebuild mode gentlemen whether they care to admit it or not.
Team needs new identity and starts with new QB next year. Rebuilt OL. A real commitment to the running game. New offensive coordinator, OL coach.
Defense needs a run stuffer, replacement for Bush if he can’t regain his rookie form, a decision on Tuitt, will he play or not, two new CB’s and a safety.
And most of all team needs a new direction and message. Tomlin has become very, very stale and does not resonate with players. No discipline, poor tackling, does not coach players up to their fullest potential.

This felt like an *end of an era* type game.

I remember the resurgence of the Steelers in the 90's when Cowher came on the scene.

If I was told back then that the Steelers wouldn't suck again until the year 2021, I would have been good with that.

Solid post. It's gonna be a **** show off season. If they duct tape it again that is insane.

What the ... ?

No, it's not the end of anything, merely the continuation of the Tomlin incompetence. He took over a roster studded with Hall of Fame players, rode that team to two Super Bowl appearances, and that era ended long ago. The Tomlin era began in 2012 and has led to 5 playoff appearances, soon-to-be 5 non-playoff seasons, a 3-5 playoff record, zero Super Bowl appearances.

And getting worse. Get used to it, Steelers brethren.

Tomlin isn't going anywhere. We all know that. My guess is Canada will be back. Butler may be let go as a scapegoat for the D falling apart but that's all Tomlin and everyone knows it.
The Steelers no longer fire guys so we have to find out which assistant(s) have expiring contracts to be the scapegoat.

positives- DJ and Muth.

Positive positive positive there's. no positive with this team...you have Sutton says you have not seen our best yet....duh we are still waiting , Claypoole runs mouth but today come on do you talking on the field, yea two descent catches, but inception on him as clearly he was to be thrown back shoulder, the dropped ball once more,,,he needs to leave the press clipping till after the season

I murdered a mole in my yard with a pitch fork about a half hour before kickoff. He'd been tearing up my yard for a week.
I was pretty happy throughout this easily predictable loss. My wife was more mad about the game than I was.

can you find something else to post about? we get it, you hate Tomlin....your schtick is getting old
Is he still coaching this team ? I will complain as long as the piece of **** is here. Like it or block me I could care less.

I'm so proud of the Steelers' head coach for calling a timeout with under 2 minutes left when trailing by 31 points, so Ben could complete a few more passes in total garbage time. So classy and smart.

Muth is being evaluated for a concussion. Great thing Tomlin let him stay in for that worthless TD
