Well ****

Who is calling out the defenders who posed for the picture after Witherspoon's interception? Who is calling out Claypool for wasting valuable time to signal a first down. The guy literally cost the offense one additional play.
If this was a Bill Belichick coached team, does anyone think these things would happen?

I thought the Steelers managed the clock particularly well for Minnesota: With 11 minutes remaining, down by 16, they run the ball three times in a row, get stopped, get a delay of game penalty, and take nearly two minutes off the clock. Now that's precision.
Well, at that point, as far as I know, Ben had started calling no-huddle or muddle-huddle. I assume Ben was either responsible or largely responsible for those three calls. If somebody has the game recorded and that series was called by the coaches, I guess I'm wrong. But far as I know, that was part of the No-huddle (or muddle) time and thus is probably more of a bad set of reads by Ben.

If it was a Bill Bellichick coached team, they'd be cheating their ***** off and I'd have no respect for them whatsoever.

If not for Hairball's arrogance, they likely lose last Sunday as well.

****, Chefs, Stains and Rats, could be a rough ride out.
Crazy as it sounds, I can see them winning their final home games.

Yep like I said last night. Hairballs early Christmas gift.

A couple of those teams will probably figure out how to lose to them, they will end up 8-8-1, preserve the future HOF coaches never losing season streak, and we will all be on here bitching about this for years to come.....

If it was Ben calling the plays in that circumstance, then he ****** up. And what no-huddle offense takes 32, 31, and 47 seconds off the clock between 3 running plays?

As I said, somebody who Tivo'd the game can go back and look at it and see if the OC started calling plays on that series. I was just pointing out that Ben HAD been calling no/muddle huddle prior and it's reasonable to assume (without looking at it and seeing if they started huddling up) that he was continuing.

And yes, if Ben WAS calling those plays, he ****** up.

Running the no/muddle huddle doesn't necessarily mean you don't use the play clock. It's strength is in keeping the defense on the field so you know your matchups and can exploit them with a few plays designed to do so.

Yeah, it worked out really well on that series. Exploited 'em for 7 yards on 3 plays and chewed up nearly 2 minutes.

Is Bellichick cheating now?

Patriots are at the top of their division again.

I grew up with the Steelers being the team everyone else wanted to be like. The model organization.

My hopes they would remain that way until I die is dwindling away, being overtaken by the Pats... under Tomlins watch.

Thanks Mike.

do yourselves a favor and do not go to last year's draft to see who we could have had instead of Claypool.

There isn't enough time left in the game to be running it on back to back to back plays, inside or outside. You're down by 16 points. You need to move the ball quickly, not eat up 2 minutes of clock and not even get one first down. Mix in a run if you have to, that's OK, but please for the love of God, why run it three times in a row?
I agree, and have zero idea why they ran it on three consecutive plays in the first place, but how can you commit to doing so, and then come out with that run on third and one??? Not only are you killing your clock, and doing the Vikings job for them (because their coaching was equally brilliant last night…..), but you’re running outside on a third and short with you 230lb running back, who was shutdown each time he ran outside.
