Seems the media holds Tomlin accountable. Will the fans themselves show displeasure by impacting ticket and merch sales. Coming from a fan who follows more casually than hardcore I feel Rooney is content with the brand. The nfl is a corporation where the teams are no longer defined by wins and losses but the actual logo now.
So…some markets adapt, some don’t. Funny how Kansas city wins a super bowl after the rams bolt to LA. $$$$$.
I’d very much like to understand the marketing ideas behind the league. They are america’s go to for a reason.
