What can the Steelers do in the offseason?

Ryan will be hired as a HC, gi e him a QB and he will win, he is never going to be a DC for an inept *** like Tomlin.

This is a team in transition, we were lucky to get as far as we did. Neither safety made a play today, and they made multiple mistakes. Between the safeties and Bell missing, that is the game.


Mitchell was a Band-Aid, that didn't stick. He sucked all year. Cut him.
Troy, Harrison, Kiesel, and Taylor are all done. Harrison showed the fight all year that made him great, but I don't see it happening again next year. The 4 remaining from previous SB runs, will not be here next year.


Williams, Spence, Shazier, Tuit, McCain, and Blake all showed improvement.
Jones and Worlds should be cut.

Pass rushers and DB's are top priorities.

Both Wheaton and Bryant showed some amazing progress and poise tonight. Next year, they both breakout. Offense will be ok next year.

Good post...agree with all except cutting Jones...He gets one more year...

People here seem to forget how far this team has come this season...To win the division in a "transitional" year was a great achievement, they just got beat by the better team tonite....and a big reason for that was us getting beat at the line of scrimmage all game long.

Mitchell will be around for awhile so get used to it. I liked the Mitchell/Allen/Blake/Gay secondary. It has a lot of potential.

Cortez Allen might be on the outside looking in depending on his cap hit. Ben will get an extension, they retain Tate, Moats and Harrison ignore CB in the draft, Polamalu retires, Ike and Worilds go to Arizona. Cam Thomas is gone,

Lebeau stays one more year (I hope not)

Allen is old, Blake and Mitchell suck and Gay is good as a nickel back but if they bring in just one good corner teams will target and expose him. With all the trash we have back there they picked on even worse corners than Gay.

start loading up on Corners, Worlids why was he in coverage and barley rushing, gotta ask DL about that, he is young and has shown he can be a threat off the edge but why was DL dropping him or lining at MLB?
he is not worth the tag price of close to 11 mill 6 36 8 Sb take it or leave it.

Can S.Thomas even play in the base and 2nd and 3rd down sets, I think he has like 0 reps in the sub packages, I try to cut ties with Mitchell.

Defensively, I think we're currently stronger on the line than we are in the LB corps. A front of Heyward, McCullers, McClendon, and Tuitt is stronger than the 4 starting LBs we have now. Do our players transition to a 4-3 well? Who'd be our staring 3 LBs?
