He doesn't fit the "build your team from the inside out" philosophy. That says build your DL 1st at this point. A safety would have to be Troy-ish to deserve being taken in the 1st. Clown-lin has let the DL suffer enough. He has sucked at drafting DLmen. Lost and clueless. Last decent one was Cam in 2011.

I hear you on this but nothing would surprise me in this draft as I think Tomlin has too much control now that Colbert is gone. And, Tomlin would love a player like this so he can continue to try and hang on to the D he is currently running even though using 2 DL just does not work. If they could get one of the 3 DL most think may fall to us, getting a big, fast S would be a good option. That won't happen so they should stick with a DL.

Frazier - C, seems to be coming on. B

More like B+ (and probably A at this point given he was a second round pick in his rookie year) at least.

Roman Wilson - WR, incomplete, didn't see the field, bust so far.
Payton Wilson - LB, B-. Size could be a factor.

Was a third round compensatory pick - think he should be closer to an A- than a B-.

4th round pick in his rookie year and did a reasonable job filling in for injuries - think he's better than a C

I'm praying Kahn is able to hold off Tomlin from probably wanting to pick Milroe in the first even if they trade back to the bottom of the round. Milroe Is the typical type of guy Tomlin can't draft fast enough. Milroe Is a freak athlete that's fast but needs a ton of development. We know historically how these picks turn out since the coaching staff struggles developing young talent. The only thing that would make him more attractive to Tomlin is if he were 5'9.

I'd be fine drafting him in the third as a gadget player (WR,RB,QB), if he's good with that but not as a QB only in round one. Even if Rodgers played with the Steelers for two years, I doubt the staff has him ready to be QB 1 by then. The team needs a plug and play starter this year in a position of need if they think they are Rodgers away from competing for a SB.

100%. Drafts Pickett and forces Matt Canada on him, drafts OL two straight years to play for Pat Meyer, who has had bottom 3rd ranked OLs everywhere he’s been.

Tomlin mails in offense because the overarching goal is to just protect the football.

Lloyd used to call Tomlin "Fraudlin," until I pointed out that many people use that moniker for James Franklin at Penn State. It makes a bit more sense, because Frank and Fraud have the same first three letters. So, to his credit, he did switch to something else. Unfortunately, "Clown-lin" is still a bit of a stretch, in my opinion. One matching first-syllable letter instead of none. It still sucks, but at least he's trying.
