What on earth are they gonna do with Fitzpatrick

Its a good building block on D and we won't have a franchise QB. If we sign an upper tier corner or tackle we will be shelling out big $$ for a player that will more than likely be older. We also more than likely won't have JuJu's salary. I do hate to tie that kinda money into 2 players and i see both sides of it so can't fault the team whichever way they go
 
I would wager they pay him and get a deal done if at all possible (likely 17m give or take)...my primary reasoning being what we had to give up to get him, him being a top player at his position at a “prime” age and that there won’t be a franchise QB on the books.

With the cap space we will have I don’t see them letting a building block walk unless his demands are simply crazy.

Everyone talks of him being a building block....of what exactly? Maybe his lack of playmaker ability is how we are using him....and if so it is unfortunate than. Sure that first half season we had him he looked special. Since then....meh. Just another guy.
 
Depends what he wants. He’s not TJ and highest paid player good but he’s definitely top 5 safety money worthy.

Here is the thing, the cap is severely increasing starting in 23…itvis expected to grow 20 million per season … a decent contract now will not really matter in 3 years… it will be 208 million next year, in 08 it was only 116 million… its growing really fast now…
 
Wouldn’t be a problem if they could draft a db to save their life… they can’t… tomlin was a db coach… you wouldnt know it… to bail their *** out had to sign Haden and trade for fitz we gonna have more probs than fitz
