If you go back to football move, it will be a **** show of fumble no catch. I can live with some version of survive the ground but teaching the ball has to be a second act seperate from surviving the ground.
So be it, maybe we won't have 80 ******* points and 1200 yards offenseYou have to watch the possesion and two feet down. You will have a million fumble calls.
It's ******* simple, possession, two feet down, it's a damn catch, that is something that can clearly be seen on a replay, take the stupid judgement call out of it

The rule should be, if the player catches the ball, its a catch, if they don't catch it, it isn't a catch, its really not that difficult. There wasn't this problem before instant replay.

Exactly. The announcers were saying what a great game this was while I thought it kind of sucked.

I think now that the cheaters have lost on the biggest stage of the NFL despite how they were hand cradled along to get there, kr*ft has used up or the NFL is done helping them. Next year the cheaters will have to reley more on their own cheating so the play sheet stealing / locker room mic'd up / radio sets malfunctioning / etc. will have to be brought back big time. The cheaters became somewhat taking the officiating "help" for granted and will find themselves more on their own. I think the league wants Lance to retire as they know this **** show is killing fan retention which translates to TV ratings. **** the cheatriot entire franchise..........................

4. The Zach Ertz touchdown stings
Steelers fans were watching Zach Ertz score the go-ahead touchdown, and the review which took place shortly thereafter. It looked very similar to the overturned Jesse James touchdown and, although Ertz took more steps to establish himself as a runner, watching the NFL uphold the call on the field made you wonder what might have been if James’ touchdown had stood too. Yes, I’m crying over spilled milk...

The way the rule read in 1975. How hard could it be to look that up?
The main problem I have is that they have different rules for a runner than they do for a receiver. A runner can drop the ball after crossing the goal like but a receiver can't.
