What to think about Jason Worilds.

He's not. Brian Orakpo, Justin Houston, and Greg Hardy are the cream of the crop, but both are franchise-type defenders who will be paid accordingly. Jerry Hughes was a bust in Indy but broke out last year; another 10-sack season and he's in Orakpoland. Akeem Ayers may break out this year and pull a huge deal himself.

So to me, the names to watch are Biermann and Adrian Clayborn. Clayborn has had a promising, if not overly impressive, start to his career, but hasn't really grown in the two years since. He could be had.

tha fuq?

you must have sported some proud wood when Ziggy was on the field. They have nearly identical numbers.

Huh? Clayborn has more sacks in less than half as many games. He has five FFs to Hood's zero and more than twice as many tackles per game.

Moats allready ahead of Carter. Carter will be a cut and Debo will be brought back.

Like I said before. Carter stinks. Would love Clayborn. Just not a fit in their scheme.

maybe carter is better suited for the right side as Worilds is better suited for the left.

Aside from bringing back Deebo who is easily better than both of our starters, IMO, we should try to get another back-up in the fold for next year. Phillip Hunt (FA) who was looking to make some noise last season lost his season to a "partial-tear" of his ACL. He should be rounding back into shape by now and the Eagles took Robinson in trade last year due to his injury. Baxter is still a FA too and might make a better back-up than Carter right now. Robinson is w the Redskins but some 'lower-tier' back-ups might come available at cut-downs. Right now, if you look at ALL the DE/OLBs on Walter's site, most are signed or guys who never did a thing.

Man you really hate Carter. He'll probably lose his job to So'oto before Deebo.

When you say the Steelers of old, I assume you mean the team that let Chad Brown and Kevin Green head right out the ******* exit door?

Joe

I would rather let guys leave a little early than pay all these has beens or never was guys top contracts. There's a reason we have been 8-8 last two years and heading in the wrong direction and over paying average to below average talent top money is one of the reasons. Don't ever compare worilds to chad brown, brown at his worst is better than worilds will ever be

He was good on the right side for his first year starting. He was even better on the left side for his first year. The Steelers released Woodley for him on the left side. He will be another really good Steeler left outside linebacker.

Carter is toast

First year starting? Worilds? Really? You really don't know much about this team do you?

They will likely need James for this season. Carter is younger but so is everyone that is ten years old and I don't want them playing outside line backer either.

There are guys like Brandon Graham, that the Eagles may cut. He isn't working in their 3-4, but could be worth a flyer. We def need OLB depth. I think Moats makes it, but Carter gets cut for another player. Maybe Do'Soto takes his spot?

So what makes a guy cut from the eagles, Brandon Graham, worth a shot on our team. He is not making their team. He does not know our defense, Sounds like the plug and play stuff from Madden football EA sports.

Haha yeah. Seems weird to be so gung ho about cutting our guy only to take on other team's busts.

Brandon Graham was a 1st round pick DE from Michican. He was a better prospect with identical size/attributes as Woodley. He tore an ACL his rookie year but still managed to outperform Jones rookie year and has 11.5 more sacks than Carter too. He would be a good pick-up as a back-up plan to Worilds on the left side. He could be a stop-gap or turn out to be a good player there. Chip Kelly would rather have a guy like Marcus Smith who likely could play either side of 'their version of the 3-4". There really isn't much out there and I would rather try 'something' than to keep doing the same thing with the same players 'hoping for a different result'.
