I've seen people here saying we can't beat Baltimore without Bell, local Pittsburgh media guys are saying we can't win without Bell.
We are playing the damn Ravens, they lost to a QB two weeks ago in Houston who was deer hunting the week before and Andre Johnson was hurt, yesterday they barely got by another QB who I can't even remember his name at home and the Browns were missing their best WR too.

Time to practice defending the patented Flacco "chuck it as far as I can and hope something good happens."

yeah I don't see it either.

With Ben, and Wheaton and Bryant and Heath and Antonio

and a weak raven secondary

I think there is enough talent to beat that team

They need something to write about. Usually they are all over the place with their stories and theories, at least this time they have something in common. Hopefully the Gavens read it and believe it as well and come in expecting to just walk through and move on.

FIFYinz . . .

We can still beat them, but anyone who thinks this isn't a huge problem needs some serious help with their football acumen.

Saturday night will be a street fight. It doesn't matter what happened in the regular season. The gloves are off. If Bell can't go, the mountain got a little higher to climb. Make no mistake about it. If anyone is confident with Archer and Harris, then more power to you. I'm not jumping off the bridge as anything can happen Sat. night, but my confidence meter is not high right now.

bwahahahahahaha
how classic would that be if the Steelers beat the Ravens with Ray Rice

I hear he is a real physical RB

It's the playovs, the Rats are our biggest rival, and have a weak pass defense. Our D is finally getting it together. I think the Rats get *** raped.

(Bonus karma points for anyone who gets the Roy Blount reference.)

It is stupid that we don't have a solid back-up behind Bell. This has been a concern of mine like everyone else after Blount was released. I don't think they bring in anyone at this juncture so we go with what we have in Harris and mini mouse. I cannot see Bell playing again this season and there is no sense risking more serious injury. Can we win Saturday without him? Of course we can. It just means Ben goes top heavy on the passing game and could possibly see Will Johnson more active too. We will obviously miss Bell's productivity but something else will be his blocking and his use in play action. Oh well! Thank the new rules for this.

You don't see Bell playing again this season ? There was no ligament tear/damage.

You're a jagov.

A tobey.

Jeanette Lipps.

My brother that's a priest...

I loved that book.

I have been one of Big Bens biggest fans, but now it's time to take that step. put this team on your back and carry them. Show people they need to speak your name with Brady and Manning. Tell everyone they need to chill the **** out and that that you got this, then go out and force them ******* to give you the respect you deserve. your name is Roethlisberger, they aint just gonna give you that HOF jacket, you need to go take that ************.

Well, I do not think they risk playing him against the Ravens and providing we get past them which will be difficult but I think we can, I do not think he would play the following week in Denver which I think will be the end of the trail for us. Thank God there was no structural damage but the knee will still be sore and the ability to make cuts like he's used to simply won't be there yet. I'm thinking it could take a few weeks for the soreness to go away and him returning to 100%. Hope I'm wrong. I'd be happy to be wrong.

Damn Warriors, you just fired my *** up. That's what I'm talkin bout!!!

5 WIDE *******!!!

I'm seeing the exact opposite. I see mostly everyone yammering on about how we already have the Ravens beat and there is no reason to even worry about Bell and save him for DENVER for God's sakes!

You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later.

I think they can beat the Rats without Cheech if need be. That being said, this is the playovs and if you can at all go, then you suck it up, tape it up, shoot it up, and go.
Maybe tell Ben that Terry Bradshaw said he was a wuss because he only has two rings.

5 WIDE *******!!!
What Spike said.

Couldn't agree more... It isn't like we won't gain a yard on the ground without Bell. Granted he brings a lot more to the table than just running the ball. His skills catching the ball out of the backfield and in blitz pick-up are what we will miss the most if he can't go. If the line can open some holes, Harris should be effective enough that the offense will be alright.

It's definitely more difficult without bell, but we aren't playing the Pats or Broncos, the Rats have been struggling big time recently. I just don't see how anyone can say we can't win without him.

It hurts their chances greatly. Any time you become a one dimensional team in the post season it's bad. I'm not really interested in seeing the Ravens unleash the hounds every play because they aren't scared of the running game.
