What's up Najee's butt?

Nothing is up his butt, but rather a mature, calculated decision.

The guy simply doesn't want to talk to media after speaking his mind in a media session

There is a time to talk & time for action.....Expecting him to punish some defenders today

I too am of this nature of thought.

He speaks calculated and he knows what’s silence means as well.

Salute the nation

nobody said **** about building him a statue but calling him a bust or a cancer is ******* stupid. Jerome Bettis averaged 3.9 yards a carry for his career and only broke 4 yrds a carry three times in his career. so I guess that HOF RB for us was a bust to.
I love when fans bring this stat up, as if the two backs are anywhere to being similar. Bus WAS a Hall of Fame RB, Najee will NEVER be confused as one. Never.

For their first 2 years Harris has more TDs, rec, Rec yards, rec TDs, but Bettis had more carries and 200 more yards with nearly identical YPAs 3.9 to 4.0.

Harris already has the same TDs and is only 137 yards behind Bettis' year 3 production. A little too early to see if he's a HOFer IMHO.

And I have very simple standards for women. Their butts and dicks must be smaller than mine...

yeah and I love this argument when you get hit with facts.. But but Bettis was a HOF'er. I know he was a HOF'er. But you wanted to post about Najee's per carry average and that he was a bust. that's what I responded to.

Come back at me when you can Quote me some FACTS about why Najee is a bust or STFU Junior..

Oh, OK, I guess I missed the part where a 1st round pick was supposed to only be the 23rd most productive RB in the NFL. And for 4 years can't rush for as much as 4 ypc even once. Got it. Najee's been a fabulous, great 1st-round pick, I just missed it. He's been everything advertised, that's if he was promoted as a Trent Richardson. Perfect.

Harris should not have been our 1st round pick that year. that being said he is certainly not the bust that a lot of fans are saying he is. he has been exactly what the coaches want him to be.

you also must have missed my post about not believing he would be challenging for any NFL rushing titles.

I don't know what y'all expect from him running behind this offensive line and with the OC we had. some are so high on Warren.but he benefits from having Najee taking most of the punishment look don't get me wrong I think Warren is a good second punch but if he had to carry the load all by himself you would see much different numbers.

Jalen has 157 attempts in two years Najee has 707 in three lets let Warren get some more ware on him before we compare him with Harris.

so to correct some of your facts Najee has been in the league less than THREE years not four and has Rushed for 2733 yards he has 812 yard receiving and has 23 TD's. In this **** show of an offense. WTF more do you want.

I know it is a sensitive subject. I agree with most of what you say just not sure he is exactly what the coaches want. I think they envisioned him as being more of a steady Eddie. More explosive runs and less roller coaster type performances. I also think he isn't a bust.

If that's the case, they should have envisioned building a better line before drafting a back like Harris. Just speculation on my part, but, I'll bet Harris ran behind better OLs at 'Bama than Warren did at Snow College, Utah State or, Oklahoma State. I'd also speculate that Warren's familiarity with running behind subpar lines has helped him with his transition to running behind the line we have here.

Didn't have time to build a better line. It was Ben's swan song. Najee was drafted to magically fix a terrible running game on his own.

Wrong.

Alot of it is play recognition by the defense as well. Teams know when najee is running, with Warren its not quite as clear. Alot of runs Najee has no shot whatsoever. Hopefully with Canada gone we can mix runs / passes from the same formations and give the backs a better shot

Might not have been had they had the forethought to have been grooming replacements for the OL as they got older. No Center behind Pouncey, No real Guard prospects behind Foster and DeCastro. Idiocy. And, if they had actually addressed the line during that time, then bringing in Najee when they did would have made more sense.
I'm not a Najee basher. Nor, am I one to say "but, Creed Humphrey, etc., etc.". But, that's because I think they should have been addressing the line before it became a tipping point.

100%. That's on Colbert. I have no problem with anyone saying "but Creed Humphrey" either.

It's time to acknowledge that Colbert wasn't the genius he's made out to be without Cowher's input.

Somewhat agree. I think Warren is just shiftier which helps against an iffy O-line. Najee is more of a north south runner who would probably benefit from better C play. I don't envision Najee as a scrub, just don't see him as a consistent difference maker either. Perhaps again better O-line play would help.

Our STARTING RB and 1st round draft pick is openly complaining about the team; nothing to be concerned/talk about? Really weird, there, dude.
He complained last week just like any sane Steeler fan did. This article said he didn’t comment.

You have some crow to eat. Najee was the better back today, by far.
I don't really care who the better back is but Najee is NOT a bust! But I'm sure if he has a subpar game the usual suspects will be waiting to pounce.
