Where is the star power?

Lol...Lamar and Burrows were hurt for huge amounts of the season. And Rodgers miss open guys weekly. Open guys in the NFL usually have guys close to them. It isn't college football where guys run free wirh no defender within yards routinely. Even when guys did get that open Rodgers probably missed more than he hit. Seems you have some selective memory going on here. Maybe you are remembering Rodgers lone SB appearance. 🤔 🤪
Ok dude. The number one ability is availability. Rodgers missed one game with a fractured arm. He played the rest with a cast. His numbers were every bit as good per game then both those guys. He had a passer rating above 90 and 3-1 td to Int. And he's not playing with the targets the other two have by any means.

His run D still is top notch. The problem is scheme, 2 DL ain't cutting it against heavy running teams

Cam is aging out. Father Time has yet to be defeated. One can only hope they install a new scheme and that Cam can benefit from that change. It’s not a proven and it is a younger man’s sport.

Cam is nearing his value at a depth player. If he plays this whole season, I will be surprised.

Remember that old saying, better to cut ties a year early than to keep a year to long.

We are forced to keep Cam due to previous coaching and under developing of players to replace him.

I think they draft D line with one of the top 5. Cam may not be a great leader on his Podcast but he knows how to get it done. Cam played at a pro bowl level last season.Their first last year looks legit when not injured. A few other pieces. They got a legit nose. Benton is not a point but is a good gapper.
* in addition to Harmon, Yaya Black had his moments last year. I fully expect him to be better next season.

I know but blaming him for last year mediocre run D is bullshit

Except vs the playoff teams, we beat 1 playoff team, DK is better than anyone Baltimore has.

Heyward was the top rated IDL per PFF this year, and while I can't see the grade splits, his overall 90+ grade could not be possible without a high run defense grade.
PFF stats should never be used to support an argument IMHHO. Sorry, I'm usually on board with your opinions but having gone down a rabbit hole in regards to PFF data gathering, their off the wall approach is comical to me. I'm currently a data architect by trade, and I'm building a large model to gather compliance information against our enterprise security stack. If I chose the same approach as PFF I'd be sending out surveys to engineers and contractors on their opinions to oddly generated categories instead of using hard fast data on key indices.

Lol, that's exactly what PFF grades by -- the eye test, on every single play with multiple analysts. Do you analyze Heyward's every play on the All-22 every week?

And Lebanon, Cris is the majority owner of PFF, he's not grading players and it's unlikely he's giving marching orders based on biases like Dr. Evil with a whiny southern drawl, that's crazy fan talk.
Still has his taint. My cousin worked for them for years. It is a bit of a cult.

One single talent gets doubled and there isn't a hell of a lot left. Calvin Austin, the backs which he got the most out of and Muth who the offense didn't allow throws to. He exceeded anyone's possible expectations.

I agree, but here we are depending on a 90,000 year old to be a big part of stopping the run.

Tomlin didn’t do anybody a favor in how this situation has been playing out for the last three years.
(No real developement for his replacement)

Rodgers? He did exactly what everyone thought he/we would, get to 9 or 10 wins, get smashed in the playoffs. We did ok vs the non-playoff teams and not so well vs the playoff teams. He had a lower passer rating than Russell Wilson did here, and Wilson didn't have the 4th highest paid WR in the NFL either.

But Pickens is at least as good if not better dso he had a similar WR available

Pickens in this system wasn't any better, and I'd say worse because of his attitude, but Gainwell was better than anyone we had with Wilson. Don't get me wrong if someone said, you have one game to win, who are you taking Rodgers or Wilson, I'm taking Rodgers, but Rodgers did nothing that wasn't expected here, like I said 9 or 10 wins, get smashed in the first playoff game.

PFF doesn't use data to grade players, it's subjective grading by watching the plays. If a WR drops a perfect pass, the QB doesn't get dinged. Passer rating does ding the QB, by using...

...data gathering.
