Which Free Agent CB Could Steelers Pursue 2019?

This has to be priority #1. As Cope pointed out about a month ago, when this guy and Haden are on the field together, the defense is much better. The Steelers simply cannot let Hilton walk.

And just to put things in perspective: Mike Hilton makes $555,000...or about 3.8% of the amount for which Leveon (Who?) refused to play this season. Yes, 3.8%!

He's going to get a big pay raise. $5M range/ year? He's worth it!

Yeah, I was just saying hes the best out of them.

And perhaps now with the injury, he could be had on the cheap (or cheaper than he'd normally be). ACLs can get rebuilt and get even stronger and aren't even close to the worst injuries out there.

darby, Jackson best dAYS BEHIMND THEM, TO OLD AND INJURY PRONE

Dude, Ronald Darby is 24 years old. And he's had an ankle dislocation and the ACL tear (as far as major injuries).

Hilton is a Exclusive Rights FA, ala Villanueva before last season. He can't leave. Steelers will tender him something and then probably work out a longer deal.

Hilton won't get away, the STEELERS are going to long term him, 4 years 19.5 out of that 6mil signing bonus, my guess.

My guess they’d get at least a 5th year out of his deal since they could just let him play under the exclusive tag for peanuts next year. 5 years 25 million with 5 million guaranteed.

Incorrect. He most certainly CAN leave, if the Steelers fail to make him an offer before the deadline imposed by the league. Unlikely, but possible nevertheless.

Great catch. He'll be on the cheap next year, probably get paid the year after.

I am really interested in how Sensebaugh goes the next several games with Hilton and Haden. If they become a very solid unit; I would really hesitate to break up that chemistry. However; if a stud CB happens to become available...I wouldn’t say no
