Who is your College Football top 4?

FSU has won 26 games in a row and until someone knocks them off they're el numero uno. If their qb gets his head out of his *** early in the game instead of late they will keep winning and should win out.

1. Bama 2. FSU 3.TCU 4. Iowa Hawkeyes
Iowa??? Really???
Ohio St lost to Virginia because they were breaking in a new QB. They have improved since then.
It's embarrassing us to read your posts. Please stop and do some MINOR RESEARCH before you type your rhetoric on a message board...

Bermuda shut up you embarrass yourself with your stupid post, and if you didn't know that I was talking about VTech to bad

Crimsontide wanted to know what team we had in our top 4. I didn't know i had to ask clowns like Bermuda for there opinion furst.

It will come down to Alabama, Oregon, FSU and Baylor after the conference championship games.

**** the Noles, **** em in their ears, but anyone trying to bump them out of the playoffs clearly has an agenda.

Florida St. VS. TCU (#1 vs. #4)
Alabama vs. Miss. St. (#2 vs. #3)

The NCAA will slowly move towards a 16 team playoff, but it will be really slow going because the bowl system has very deep pockets... Look at the matchups we would have in the quarterfinals if current seeds held:

Alabama vs Ole Miss
Oregon vs. Baylor
Florida St. vs. Ohio St.
Miss. St. vs. TCU

I may not live to see it, and I'm not old, but I'd like to see 16 teams with at least two non power conference schools and the power five conference champs with automatic bids.

ewwww hahaha. Love FSU! Hate the qb though. He's a moron. Oh and **** your team too!

If they eventually go to 16, then I think they have to give all 10 conferences an automatic bid...and then have 6 wild-cards. Just like the rest of the tournaments the NCAA puts on...

Also, if you go to 16 you can have the first round early enough that the losers of those games can still get a bowl bid... that might make the bowls happier.

The only problem I have with the automatic bids is the absolute mess and mockery it could make out of the whole system.

Let's look at a very realistic example... take this year's SEC. Let's assume that both Alabama and Mississippi State win out. You'd have two one-loss teams in the SEC West. Bama, by way of their victory over Mississippi State, would win the SEC West and move on to the SEC championship game. Now let's say that Bama meets Missouri in the championship game and loses... not out of the realm of possibilities given their inconsistent play on the road. You'd now be in a situation where you'd have Missouri with the automatic bid, Bama sent home packing, and Mississippi State hoping to get in as a wild card even though they have only a single loss.

Or worse... if Georgia Tech loses to George and Duke wins out... Duke would play Florida State in the ACC championship game. What if Duke were to pull that upset? Does anyone want to see a two-loss Duke team in the playoffs?

One could even imagine a wonky year where you have a bunch of mid-tier teams who get hot for one game sneaking into the national championship playoffs, leaving a number of more qualified teams sitting at home. Duke vs. Missouri? Anyone up for that?

Not sure what the solution is... but I definitely agree that more teams will need to be added to the playoff system before than can even try to get it right.

The top four of Bama, Oregon Florida St and Miss ST pass the test. The only team, but they are undefeated, is Florida ST, they have struggled and not looked top four caliber yet they do what it takes to win. As it stands would be a fun playoff for sure.

Fact is you are trying to put any team in there but an SEC team. You've been anti-SEC for years. Of course you don't know how good MS State is but you KNOW that TCU, Baylor or GASP OSU should be ahead of them. The fact is that the big 10 sucks monkey balls. TCU lost to Baylor but you think they are still better? MSU lost to Bama in Tuscaloosa by 5 points but MSU isn't that good? TCU gives up 61 ******* points but they are a great team? LOL.. I'm sorry but your SEC hate is on full display.

If you read again, i had Bama in my top 4, You are throwing a hissy fit because i don't have TWO sec teams in there and you call me biased. Hilarious.

See, here's the difference. I have actually seen these teams play and i go by what i've seen and not a zombie like allegiance to a conference. Or by what ESPN tells me to think.

Did you watch that Bama vs MSU game? That was not a 5 point game. MSU scored a TD with 15 seconds left to make it a 5 point game. Bama dominated and at no point did MSU pose a real threat. Only people who either did not see the game or want to hype up MSU would call that a 5 point game as if it was a tight game. I don't think Miss State will beat Ole Miss in the egg bowl. I don't like MSU's offense.

Why do you insult the Big Ten thinking that somehow bothers me? I've told you guys before, that conference zombie loyalty is your game, not mine.

It may come as a shock to you but Penn State fans HATE the Big Ten. ******* HATE the Big Ten. I hoped PSU would jump to the ACC

The Big Ten is not great this year, but they aren't as bad as people think either. Ohio State is really good and getting better. Their QB, JT Barrett is a better passer than Braxton Miller. He's a freshman who was thrown in too early because Miller got injured just a week before the season started. He threw 3 INT vs Virginia Tech including a pick 6 when it was a 7 point game late and OSU could have tied it up.

Mich State is very good. Wisconsin is a quality team. Michigan is garbage. Penn State has one of the best defenses in the country, but no offense because they have less than 50 scholarship players and the OL is in shambles.

So you care nothing about the big 10 then spend two paragraphs defending them? Ok. I watch a ton of college. I watched the MSU/ Bama game. You just hate the SEC. I get it. I don't watch ESPN but you need to throw that in so your hate can continue. Bama is a good team but they didn't dominate MSU. MSU outscored Bama 17-6 in the second half. Bama was outgained by almost a hundred yards. They were very evenly matched. But I guess getting beat by giving up 60 points is better than losing by 5 points to Bama? You SEC hate just drives everything you see in college football.

You make a ton of excuses for OSU but none for any SEC team. Ole Miss had Auburn beat but their WR had his leg broken while going into the endzone when the CB grabbed his jersey and fell on his leg. You think Ole Miss is going to beat MSU without their #1 WR? You don't like MSU's offense but you like Ole Miss'? You ever seen Bo Wallace play? He is up and down like a yo-yo.

I'm sorry but the big ten is a bad conference. OSU has done this same **** year after year. They beat up big ten competition all year then get ******* killed in a bowl game. That's why they are 2-5 the last 7 bowl games. They've lost their last 2 bowl games against not even great competition.
