1. Doug Pederson - I get the sense he's been checked out.
2. Antonio Pierce - The Raiders aren't patient and they've been terrible this year, though that's what happens when you don't have a QB.
3. Brian Daboll - The Giants have been a disaster. I think what has gone on in New York is a reason Tomlin's job is safe even though the Steelers don't win in the playoffs anymore.
4. Jared Mayo - I didn't understand him as the coach in waiting. They need an offensive-minded head coach with Drake Maye. He looks like he can be very good and they don't want to screw that up.

Well Doug Peterson in Jacksonville is certainly doomed. A top paid QB that regressed, horrid results...

Pierce in Vegas is gonna get axed... he was only given the job to appease Adams, who is gone...

Im guessing McCarthy gets booted in Dallas. The epic failure has to be pinned on someone, after all

DaBoll in NY is also probably gone... they will bring in a new guy to pair with a new qb... they made such a point about how the coach and GM werent a package deal and seem happy with the GM

Others that could be in trouble:
The Colts could well part ways with Shane Steichen... the Colts are seen as dysfunctional and Richardsons development seems botched...

The Browns will do whatever to appease Myles Garrett... so scapegoating Kevin Stefanski for the Qb mess is totally possible. If Garrett wants a different guy, a change will get made..

If the Bengals fail to make the playoffs a second season in a row, Zac Taylor could get axed, though its hard to see the Brown family dumping his final two seasons... the extension he signed the super bowl has 2025 and 26 left on it, so barring player revolt, he probably gets another season.

Obviously The Bears, Saints, and Jets will be replacing their Interim Coaches

Coaches i think are safe:
I dont think the Pats will move on from Mayo after a season despite the hot seat talk

I also think the Titans have reasons to keep moving forward with Callahan.

Obviously Shanny is safe in SF... a bad year doesnt wipe out everything from the past few years

Situations that could go either way:

Carolina should keep their coach, but they have an erratic owner... since tepper took over in 2018, he fired Rivera, Rhule, and Reich... and their interim replacements..

Arizona has been inconsistent. Gannon should get more time, but they have been very unpredictable at head coaching fires recently..

Tomlin is 1 or at worse 2 seasons from supplanting Noll as all time wins leader for the Franchise... its unlikely the Steelers would move him barring a sick overpayment...
Having said that, if we were to lose vs Cinci and in the first round and the locker room falling apart was shown on hard knocks, there could be an opening... assuming it was Chicago that made the offer...

Chicago is the most desirable location for a conservative Defensive coach..... a solid framework on D, a young qb, an offense one year removed from being 2nd in the league in rushing yards.. Ben Johnson wont go there... he will go to Jacksonville to rehab Lawerence...

But the thing is, Chicago doesnt have needs at premium positions, a guard isnt a high end position... depth edge rushers can be gotten later... so they could deal their first and say next years second for a coach if they wanted too


Now it isnt gonna happen, but that would be tge path if it did

I think Harbaugh could be termed if Baltimore doesn't win the AFCCG. Stacked roster, QB having a historic season, and Henry killing opposing defenses. If you can't get it done with that roster, you just can't get it done.
