Billy Cheater is rumored to be blackballed by kraft and maybe the league office... he wanted to go to Chicago and the rumor is they weren't even willing to consider him... last year someone talked the Falcons out of hiring him after it looked like a done deal
The speculation is that either Kraft is using his substantial pull to spite Billy over their fued..
Or the league is very opposed to him becoming the all time wins leader in case the extent of the spygate **** ever came out..
In either case, its possible BElicheat took the NC job cause he is toxic and untouchable in the NFL now
Had you stated you believe he won't get hired because owners and GM don't believe in his coaching style, I'd give you a thumbs up. But your post is all speculation and "possible" without a single fact to be found.
The league has 31 owners who want to win a championship and one of them is going to hire Belichik if they need a coach and they believe Belichik gives them the best chance to reach that goal.
The jobs Billy interviewed last year and had some serious consideration, Kraft absolutely interfered in....
From an espn article last year:
"But in a conversation with Blank, Kraft delivered a stark assessment of Belichick's character, according to a source who spoke to two people: a close Kraft friend and a longtime Belichick confidant. The source quoted the Belichick source as saying, "Robert called Arthur to warn him not to trust Bill." That account was backed up, the source said, by the close Kraft friend.
Multiple sources said that Kraft spoke with "some candor" to Blank about Belichick, though the sources declined to elaborate. One source close to Belichick said Kraft "was a big part" of why the Falcons passed on hiring him."
Also about the washington job:
"However, principal owner Josh Harris, who had spoken privately with Kraft about Belichick, told confidants in early December that he respected Belichick but wasn't going to hire him."
......... now throw in the reports this year that prior to taking the UNC job he convened a council of subordinates and friends to feel out the NFL coaching cycle and concluded there wasn't going to be a landing spot for him...
I mean that is a lot of jobs in two seasons he is getting passed over for ... he is only 26 regular season wins away from the all time regular season wins record and 14 behind shula for the regular season plus playoffs record... he is also over 70 so has really limited time to keep coaching...
Something chased him to college.. he is too egotistical to abort his chase of shulas records this close on his own
