Who's your pick?

It'll be a corner.

I'd rather trade back and pick up Calhoun. He plays a little light, but his first step just stupid. He's an entire step off the ball before OTs get get out of their stance.

Spence doesn't bend the edge very well. Alot of his pressures come from him being unblocked, or hustle plays. We already have that guy, his name is Jarvis Jones.
 
I think we take Taylor Decker, Ohio State, OT
 
I don't really think this will happen, but in case, it does I'll predict:

Shaq Lawson drops and the Steelers can't pass on him.

This is exactly what I hope happens. They get a GREAT talent, and pick up an extra third. This allows them to get a few more corners AND a WR along with a DL before the bottom of the draft.

one name... and when they hand in the ticket i think it will be... vonn bell, safety ohio state. has good versatility, can start now, good program, team leader abilities.... can cover and play in the box... hes got steeler written all over him

Totally agree, but I'm presuming Billings & WJIII are gone, and I doubt Calhoun slides down that far in rnd two. Just a hunch. I'm never right with these pre-draft picks, so it's safe to presume we're definitely not drafting Calhoun. :)

I'm gonna split the difference with Tibs and Slashsteel.

Best case scenario is we get the best CB/S available in the first and make a move for Calhoun in the second. It's an A grade draft if we can get both and some solid secondary depth with the rest.

You know, Foster had a very low guarantee also. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the stud guards fell(Whitehair, Garnett, Westerman), they nab one after the first. If you draft a stud Foster immediately becomes a great backup at his salary for a year or 2. LMAO! Heads would explode here if they went OT and OG in 1 and 2.

I like both of these guys and Spence, but with Spence's off field issues I see us passing on him. For that, If there, I think it will be WJIII.
