Blagojevich told Jesse Watters that it was Barack Obama who began the ‘whole conversation about his vacant senate seat’ and he even sent a middleman to Blago on election night.
“President Obama began the whole conversation because he sent someone to me as a middle man — a mediator — not unusual in politics on the night he was elected president to say that he would like to talk about his choice for the senate [Bammy's vacated seat] and to see what I might be willing to ask for.
“Political horsetrading, not what those corrupt prosecutors said it was.”
