And the last 20 years I had to attend yearly security training sessions. And I held a secret clearance. We were cautioned about using Government internet and e mail for personal reasons. But never about storing, receiving and sending classified from a personal server. I used to take things home at night and when I finished my project I would e mail it to my Government address. My command didn't care, all they knew was the project was complete and they didn't have to pay overtime.

Oh I call BS on this. If you're Gov you have annual security training and you are 100 percent trained on what to do if you receive FOUO or classified material IN ANY FORM, EMAIL or HARD COPY. It doesn't matter if you get it from a NIPR or SIPR account or from a personal server...if it's classified you better damn well know how to handle it. Sounds like you don't take your training serious or don't retain what you been taught.

I keep tellin' yinz, if the truth comes out we'll find it wasn't the Russians. It was people inside the NSA and CIA who were pissed that Hildebeast's server DID get hacked and the Rooskies and others did get some info that led to some undercover agents getting killed. Besides, none of the Dems are saying that what got leaked was untrue. Don't doubt me on this.

Sorry but it was what it was. As I said I had yearly training. It was kind of generic and it was mostly video stuff. There was no training in what to do with your e mail accounts. They did though worry about using the Gov. computers for personal business. The security training I had was more about my personnel security. About being aware of people who were around you and what they might be doing. Now I retired in 2003 and e mail was relatively new but we were using it. After I retired I would receive e mails from people I had worked with and they was a cautionary page about it coming from a government source. They were usually jokes that someone ran across and would send out to friends. I never would open them up because I thought these people should be spending more time working and less time looking for jokes on the internet.
