Steelers can get the 3 seed if they win both games and the Colts lose 1. Colts play at Dallas this week so that's not far fetched. That would likely match the steelers vs the 6 seed Chargers in first round and then play at the 2 seed, currently Denver.

Yep, that's the exact scenario I rung up on the ESPN playoff tracker with the Rats playing the Colts in the 4/5 matchup. I like that situation with the chance of getting payback for the Tebow game in Denver. Also think the Rats can beat Indy and always give Brady fits.

This would be most ideal. Sends us to Denver with the WC win. Gonna have to repeat the 05' run if we want a crack at the sticky trophy.

We could be staring at a Week 17 WC weekend rematch if we get 4 seed and play the Bengals the very next weekend. Could potentially see the Rats as a division winner at 4 seed and Rats as 5 seed. Should be an interesting close to the season.

At the beginning of the season, I thought it could be a huge advantage to finish out with the last 2 at home.

That is likely to be the case. Win Sunday, and spank the Bungles the next week to win the division, get a home playoff game.

I ain't lookin ahead either. This team can beat just about anybody, but, as we've seen, they can lose to absolutely anybody as well. Until they are actually in, I'm still not looking at possible seeds and scenarios. They need to get in first.

We have to play with urgency but not too much pressure..these teams remaining on our schedule have just as much to play for as we do....desperation. So this team needs to focus and handle business.....as had been stated by the players themselves.."our playoff season started....... two weeks ago". But i have confidence in em. I know they can do this.

I would think the Steelers matchup well in this upcoming game as far as the Chiefs being a running team over a passing team.

And being a home game.

Plus the extra motivation with the playoffs on the doorstep.

Regardless that secondary needs to step up.

Just know much they can remains to be seen.

Actually i believe its the exact opposite. Because we struggled against the run, especially earlier in the year, we kept having to drop safeties down in the box. This lead to some big plays in the passing game off of play action. Jamal Charles is the kind of back we have struggled against all year-quick cut back runner. We will need our Dline to step up big time as well as our lBs. If not, we could be looking at some long throws agains single coverage with no deep help again.

Good thing about playing Andy Reid, he never changes his gameplan. Conservative offense, hold on to the ball, don't make mistakes. Wash rinse repeat.

Hopefully we see some more improvement with the young D line and it helps out the LBs who in turn will help the secondary. I'm excited for this one!
