But it’s Mike Tomlin, a coach who micromanages his staff relentlessly, and took Ben’s ability to audible late in his career away.

Either way it’s a bad call and on Tomlin.

Tomlin deserves credit for the adjustments in the 2nd half and for the team win.

I think Washington when they went up played not to lose. If they kept playing hard it might have been a different outcome. Again. I feel we should have lost. I am glad we didn't.

Fair enough. Apologies.......that being said whatever issues you claimed should have led to the Steelers losing could also be said about the Commanders. Fact was the Steelers were the better team today and that's withstanding questionable calls and non calls by the refs. It's a 60 minute game like someone said. I don't know how someone can say the Commanders were relaxing with a lead unless you're on the sideline or in all their heads which you're not.i just don't like the throwing a wrench in the works attitude when from.what I saw it was a hard fought victory. Sometimes things don't go the way you want and there's adversity. It doesn't mean you don't deserve what you got at the end.

There is some hope. We saw a couple quick slants and that's the weakness with Russ: it's high% post, corner deep, out. And the seam route less often. He rarely throws crossers or those quick slants. Too late for him to change..let's just hope the run game keeps working enough that he can keep it working with play action.
