I bet Houston is buzzing right now.
Pretty clear the ball is juiced. The umpire strike zone was atrocious. It took away some good at bats for the hitters and really ****** with the pitchers. Can't imagine how hard it is to bat when the strike zone kept changing.
Props to Houston, Verlander is going to be a beast to beat in Game 6. Gonna be cool in LA tomorrow night. Marine layer makes it hard to hit the ball out. (might not matter with juiced balls)

only thing consistent about the strike zone (especially last night) was how inconsistent it seemed....both sides did plenty of jawing about called strikes...

The strike zone being normal was key last night. None of those bullshit out of the strike zone called strikes killed the flow of the game. The hitters were able to be patient, work counts and for the Dodgers they made Verlander pay. I thought Doc Roberts was helter skelter with his bullpen but they came through. That cool Pacific night air helps slow down fly balls. I think both managers will be quick to go to the bullpen tonight when the starter gets into trouble. That could lead to a longer game and some wackiness. Home field advantage will be huge if the Dodgers go up early.
