To me, Colbert lost his Midas touch and Tomlin, the players and the coaches just aren't good enough to make up the difference.
I think the majority of the penalties are bullshit, but we can't do **** in the playoffs with this bunch anyway.
There's also a reason 3 of them are no longer head coachesYou know what sucks?
There 4 Head Coaches on this team!
Tomlin, LeBeau, Haley, Munchak.
2. It almost goes against random chance that your defense doesn't get turnovers. They got one today...but like steel shinin said, that was a gift. I guess they met the quota for the next 4 games.
10. In John Maxwell's, "21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership" he speaks of a former manager of a successful takeover firm in the hospitality business. The manager said when they take over a hotel they always start by doing two things. First...train the employees. Second, fire the manager. ALWAYS. Because..."if he had been a good leader, the organization wouldn't be in the mess they are in."
It is my speculation that when Tomlin came in, with Rooneys support, he started to flex his muscle, and override Colbert advice. Colbert stepped back and allowed Tomlin his pleasure. Now we are seeing the arrogance of Tomlin coming to fruition. When did Colbert lose his Midas touch?
If this game doesnt put the icing on the cake for Tomlin I dont know what will. Numerous undisciplined penalties and of course the f*#king failure at the end, offensively and defensively. Yes I said offensively. That play calling at the end of the game was absolute horseshit on both sides of the ball.
Tomlin is a guy who guesses and hopes. He has no end game. They got a mind numbing false start on Pouncey. Who's snaps out of pistol are laughable by the way. Jeez half of them are picked off shoe tops. Then they pass on second down. If you are going to pass. Pass on third down and try to finish it. Or make a pass that will get it done on second. On third you might as well booted Ben out and gave him a run throw option to try and get the first and finish it.
