Would you?

He can win it without another ten year drubbing from MT

Would you be willing to have Tomlin for 10 more years if it meant Ben winning the big one this year?
I figure that is probably how long Tomlin will be around for better or worse. So yes.

My initial thought is "hell yeah," but then I think about the past decade plus of Tomlin-induced frustrations since the last Super Bowl win and hesitate a bit.

Merely making the playoffs this season probably added another few seasons to Tomlin's tenure.

Back to back playoff appearances is like back to back Super Bowls for ownership anymore.

Well appearing in the playoffs and getting your *** completely handed to you in the playoffs multiple times are not the same. I just want them back on top. I don't care who does it, after 12 years I have lost all faith because I see the same issues over and over.

Of course I'm just a fan and not the owner. I measure things by what the Steelers themselves set as "the standard" excuses get old after awhile.

I'll stop ranting. I'm keeping good juju vibes at least until the Steelers play. I hope it's at least a well prepared team who comes with passion and physicality.

Sure, we have gone this long with him and I don't see Rooney ever firing him not matter what, so... send Ben out a winner and give him most valuable player while you're at it!

100% Yes. With the young core and a $150M of cap space in 2022, if you draft right and grab quality FA's you might be set for multiple runs for the trophy.

Absolutely….. coordinators are more important overall and superbowls are a 1/32 odds at best…. Even if he didn’t win again for the duration of the time one super bowl is worth it

Absolutely. A SB is even rarer than a franchise QB. Having Ben get us number 7 would be HUGE! Tomlin isn't going anywhere anyhow. He has at least a 5-year free pass already, if not 10 like slashsteel said.

Mikey T will be here for more than 10 more years anyway…without likely sniffing but a couple playoff wins…so yes I’ll take the SB this year (the only way MT sniffs another bowl is with a HOF QB, and probably won’t have another over the next 10 years of his rule)

Agree, and maybe in the 6th year of his 10y contract after a bunch of nobody QBs he decides to retire from football to start his cliché commentator career in ESPN , allowing for a proper rebuilding.
