Would you be willing to have Tomlin for 10 more years if it meant Ben winning the big one this year?
That wasn't the question. The point is you get Ben a win for sure but have to have Tomlin stay for 10 years. He can win it without another ten year drubbing from MT
I figure that is probably how long Tomlin will be around for better or worse. So yes.Would you be willing to have Tomlin for 10 more years if it meant Ben winning the big one this year?
My initial thought is "hell yeah," but then I think about the past decade plus of Tomlin-induced frustrations since the last Super Bowl win and hesitate a bit.
Merely making the playoffs this season probably added another few seasons to Tomlin's tenure.
Back to back playoff appearances is like back to back Super Bowls for ownership anymore.
Because the OP supposes that tomlin would be gone but ben wouldnt get a 3rd SB. We are going to languish under Tomlin if ben wins or we are 1 and done. Our chances to win #7 this year is about 1%Why not?
Agree, and maybe in the 6th year of his 10y contract after a bunch of nobody QBs he decides to retire from football to start his cliché commentator career in ESPN , allowing for a proper rebuilding.I figure that is probably how long Tomlin will be around for better or worse. So yes.
